Sam said it’s rue who comes home at the end. Also, the series is renewed for season 3. Zendaya made a post on instagram. The show is going to follow Rue into recovery eventuallyyy. I think it might be awhile though.. I didn’t know it’s 5%. Glad to say im 1/20

Rue is bipolar ....so, yes, I believe her oscillating between anger & sadness. We're also reminded, at the end, that Rue is still a kid. One that has many issues: ADHD, OCD, social anxiety, bipolar disorder AND borderline personality disorder coupled with her addiction that might be an effect of her mental health. I root for her bc of that reason. She still has life ahead of her, if she can get clean, start going to therapy and be properly medicated. She has a chance & I hope that is the end goal of this character & show. FYE: that is Zendaya singing during the flashback scene.

I think it's a bit of both. She is genuinely hurt but at same time she's trying to guilt trip her mom because it's her trying to deflect.

I think addicts do everything and anything to get their physical symptoms under control/their “fix” no matter who it destroys around them. To me one of the most powerful scenes is when Rue breaks into the house and the dog starts growling but can sense that she is a good person deep down or someone you can trust at base level they are just so messed up from addiction.

I'm glad Steph questioned this--especially when they keep going back to Rue mentioning how much she misses her dad. I do think she of course misses him and feels the devastation of that loss but I also have to think it's at least somewhat manipulative, even if it's subconsciously done at certain moments. I've never experienced addiction or the withdrawal process at this level but it does seem realistic based on what I've learned from others and I have to assume that Sam draws a lot of material off his own past experiences with drug addiction to add validity/sincerity. Such a heartbreaking, incredible episode. Would be SHOCKED if Z doesn't earn her 2nd Emmy from her performance here--outstanding.

@@tgardner11 as someone who literally just got done withdrawing from an opiate i abused every day for 8 years, euphoria NAILS WITHDRAWAL ON THE HEAD to a T. it is hell on earth and you will do whatever you can to stop the pain unless you really are trying to get clean like i did. I basically lived in my bathroom for 15 days. lost 30 pounds, had to be admitted to the ICU for a grandmal seizure from the withdrawal and i still have months to go to deal with the withdrawal (i was addicted to a long acting opiate that lasts 36-40 hours). Ive been put on suboxone now because even though im an addict, i cant not, not take opiates as my back is broken so suboxone can stop the pain, the withdrawals but also stop me from being able to get high on any other opiate/opioid. You also have to understand rue has GAD, PTSD, Panic disorder and bipolar disorder as well as being a polydrug user. her situation is very complicated and its exactly like me. I am diagnosed with everything Rue is. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER ADDICTS ARE NOT BAD PEOPLE, BUT THEY CAN DO BAD THINGS. If they put Rue into Medicated Assisted Treatment and intensive therapy this would all end as far as abusing the opiates but that of course would be the end of the show lol Lori perfectly and accurately/scientifically explains what happens to the brain with opiate addicts. It forever damages it and it rarely heals itself. I can no longer feel pleasure or happiness without a high. I have come to accept that parts of my brain are now dotted with "dead spots". Nobody tell Chris McKay about Cassie mess around with his best friend Nate whole time after they broken up and abortion their unborn kid. And she didn't tell him she cheated on him with another guy while they was in relationship. She break family and friends's code by messing around with her best friend's ex boyfriend. Most important lesson is never break family and friends's code by messing around and relationship with someone's ex and their exes. Same thing on Teen Wolf tv show, Lydia didn't tell her best friend Allison about she flirting and make out with Scott while Scott and Allison were taking a break relationship. And Malia have affair with Scott in season 6. Scott breaks family and friends's code twice by messing around with Lydia she use Scott to make her feel better in her dark times to make Jackson jealous. Plus Lydia is Stiles's secert longtime crush. He have affiar and love relationship with his best friend's ex girlfriend Malia.

No I don’t think Rue is a good person. I think her mother did need to tell her that. She’s far beyond being handled with kid gloves. I remember Ali told her that drugs change who you are as a person, that’s the case here.
