Truly a song that encourages me to stop ,look and listen and get UP when I am crumbled on the floor. When I am able to face my grief and glance around at my shattered life all I see is sadness and pity and sorrow for not doing more with-or for my beautiful son …. now forever 17 He fought hard for 57 days in the hospital after a freak accident injured his brain. We buried him August 7, this year. He was my only child. RTHEN I find out how beloved he-is amongst his friends. Music fills their souls. Fills my heart for a minute. He had a song for everyone. This song allows me to feel my son in the music or lyrics and reminds me he is never far. I will learn to live life a new way. I will say his name everyday and keep his legacy in tact. Thank you for this song.

I heard this b4, woke up searching for this song. I listen to pandora when I sleep & woke up with tears & this stuck in my head. 2nd time I've heard this & I must've heard my losted luv'd ones singing this to me. Been stressed, lost, alone even when around ppl. I lost my kids dad Tony(my bff) 4/12, my non blood twin bff Header 11/15, mom Vicki 8/15, x momma n law Carolyn(2nd mom) 11/19, the ppl that I could always run to for advice, lead me in the rt directions, etc. The ones that kept me sane & luv'd me unconditionally even when I felt alone, I feel them around me all the time. I have anything that can go wrong with a heart, I have it, pacemaker/defibrillator amongst some stuff & alot of other health issues, they're gone & I'm here. My heart has stopped 13xs & just don't understand sometimes why I'm here & they're gone. Just get lost sometimes & to hear this while sleeping to wake up with it stuck on my head this morning. Just a bit lost & ik I'll be ok, just needed a little sign & this morning feels like I got it. 💕

I showed this video to my sister in law, who was batteling cancer, when she still had good days back then. She loved this song, so beautiful. About 6 months later things started to turn, and she lost her battle. They needed her up there more than here on earth, at 27. I linked this song to her memorium website, which my brother saw, and he said to me while we where arranging things for her funeral, that this was the first song, where she would be carried into the room where the service begun. She was carried. We carried her on carry you. It made me cry instantly, how close I felt suddenly to her, one of my most beautiful memories...🌸 #theclubof27 #forever27 ❤️

My husband is currently battling cancer as well and we've been given that very short window of time he may have left and this story just gave me the best inspiration for his final resting day, however I cannot say whether we will be carrying him in for the service as you did your sister. I love this song for quite a few reasons and on a fair few levels. It starts fragile and mellow building with every chorus with an added instrumental, voice or crescendo until it sounds strong and hopeful mirroring having someone help you with depression. The lyrics reflect this, and to be honest I'm a sucker for a breathy singing voice, I find that they have a more ethereal quality and tend to show the singers personality. In short I liked it.
