We had a blessed marriage and I feel so honored to have this song as her last thoughts. I'm still in love with her and will honor our vows until God brings me home.

As a chronic alcoholic for 23+ years I made many mistakes, but two of the best things that ever happened in my life are/were my daughters. Until a year ago, never heard of Ruelle. Walked my daughter down the aisle to this amazing song. It is now on frequent repeat in an emotional play list when I need to stop being an old school male and let go. It holds equal parts love and joy, and incredible heartbreak. It reminds me of walking an amazing woman to an amazing man, and makes me realise how much was lost and damaged between her mum and myself. (Also an amazing woman who fought through a lot of demons, and regretfully married a man who didn’t have the skills or strength to help her. I own that. I know that this is a 'wedding' song, but all I feel is the love I have for my babies. Five amazing lives that I got the opportunity to grow inside my body and 3 of which I had the blessing of raising and being their momma (twin middle pregnancy was a surrogacy, full term, living beautifully with their fathers in another country).
