Wow did you prune to get it all bushy? I've seen these growing everywhere but small and overlooked, this I might try and growing wild flowers definitely brings pollinators.

Thanks a lot 😀,, they are quite invasive, if you don't want them to spread too much then container will be a good choice.. otherwise they look great in the ground if you manage them

I saw these plants in roadsides but never saw them bloom but previous year I got some ruellia simplex cuttings and this flowers look identical to those roadside plants. My curiosity took me a week to find the name but after much hardwork I stumbled upon your video. Thank you for the information. Can you please tell more roadside plants that look beautiful when put in garden. More often they are overlooked but I really want to give them a chance.

Hello Pablo, I received a Ruellia Simplex sapling from a friend at the end of Dec'22. Planted it in the bottom part of a 2-litre Sprite bottle (diameter must be around 2.5 inches). It's been over 2 months now, the plant has grown but no flowers. What should I do to start flowers in the summers?
