There will NEVER be r&b like this again. Some may try to copy but nobody can put it down like the greats in the 90s. You had Silk, Next, 112, Jagged Edge, Black Street, Ideal, Mint Condition, H-Town, Tyrese, Jaheim, r.kelly, Avant, Case, Donnell Jones, Jon B, SWV, Monica, Brandy, Xscape, Boys 2 Men, Tony Toni Tone, Tevin Campbell, Toni Braxton, Tank man that list can go on forever. And that's all in one decade of music man we were truly blessed

Fall back a little bit and think about the '80s I don't know if you was born then but check out that music the '90s is great too just check out the '80s and you'll see how music was rap everything else r&b Caribbean reggae all of that just check it out.

@@theodorephil6683 I agree. I think it goes all the way back to the late 80s. A lot of people call it New Jack Swing and I don't know if this would be considered NJS which is thought to have ended in the mid 90s, but IMO it is and NJS extended into the late 90/early 00s. I'd lump 80s artist like Johnny Kemp, Keith Sweat, BBD, After 7, Levert, Al B. Sure, Karyn White, Pebbles, and a bunch others into this genre of music.

This whole video is the most R&B 2000's look ever, from the wardrobe, dance moves to the growls at the end.

This was a good comeback to all that man bashing R&B coming out in the late 90's, No Scrubs and every song by Destiny's Child.

Exactly. We need more music like feminazis are trashing media worse than ever.

+Romeo Barnes Not really. We need more REAL music. We don't need to diss each other for the hell of it. Black men and women ARE capable of loving one another ya know =)

Oh please. Man-bashing songs are always the best. We need more of them these days with all these fuckboys in R&B.

+Simply Nichole I agree. People waste time putting each other down when we could use that same time to upbuild each other. Maybe that's part of the reason why things are the way they are nowadays.

This was my era (I’m 38) but somehow I’ve NEVER seen this video until my homegirl pointed out that Ghost from Power is the store employee 🤣🤣🤣 ... so I had to come check it out LOL! Seriously tho, I thoroughly enjoyed this video 😆 ... everything from those old late 90’s/early 2000’s dance moves/routines ... to the plot 🤣 ... even the “upgrade” from the Black “birds” to the “mixed chicks” 🙄 🤣🤣🤣 This just took me so back 😩 #nostalgia #missthesedays 😩
