I remember running back from school on a Friday afternoon to start voting for this track on channel U back in 2004/2005 I was 12 at the time and these guys where on another level. I now live in Spain and I still blast ruff squad windows down full volume.

Started year 7 listening to Korn slipknot, kid rock, the whole nu metal ting. An older handed me a bruk up cd with some holy grail grime tracks. Instantly hooked, started DJing, dad lived in bow which I coincidently learned was the birthplace of this new music I liked, went there, went rhythm division and 'anna' was the first vinyl I bought. Ridiculous levels. Still hooked

Down is probably 1 of if not the most underrated grime tunes ever. Listened to Ruff Sqwad since back in the day 20+ year ago n to see em making music again is mega. Boy in da corner changed grime on a mainstream level but only proper grime heads know what ruff sqwad done for the scene n in truth probably too ahead if their time to ever properly appreciated for what theyve done

I'm so glad that this video got remastered, well deserved! I used to wait for this song to come in rotation on Channel U back in the day. Hands down one of the best Grime tracks from its era!
