@TheRagoon lol yea, obviously the hoods in the US are rougher. But they're quite rough in the UK. To be honest if you're poor anywhere you pretty much had a rough life. Even where I am from in the US where I grew up there were 10 of us on our block now the only ones who made it to the age of 24 is exactly 3 of us. And my reason was simply my family didn't stay poor for too long so we got out when I was much younger. slums in SE asia are even rougher having spent time in SE asia.

@TechWings i agree but im saying in places like LA or NYC EVERYONE in the criminal world has a gun on them at all times, and in london it seems like there's less of that. still lots of guns to be sure but not near as many. and yeah i've done both cos my fam lives in NYC, LA, Chicago, London, Liverpool, and Manchester and i've been bounced around to all those places.

@1991maulwurf If you want you can compare Germany to the US. Two different culture, both are democracies, but there are a lot of economic similarities with the UK more so than with Germany which is a social democracy. When doing a comparison I'm not necessarily saying the two countries are similar, but instead displaying the advantages and disadvantages that citizens living in those two countries have when compared to one another. I hope that clears things up a bit.

@lordblazer12 жыл бұрын
@1991maulwurf Yea, I'm not comparing them in saying they're similar. I'm pairing them up and looking at things such as their gini #. I know UK is a monarchy, and Germany is a democracy. Its more of a cultural comparison, German culture is different from British culture. The two systems have a role in that but usually the culture shapes systems. I'm not from either country, but spent enough time in both countries to know the clear differences of them so its a comparison/contrast.

@1991maulwurf UK economy is stable, but they have been passing draconian laws in the last decade that specifically targets the youth. The US has several states that have done the exact same thing. Look at Texas and youth arrests. And you will find ppl with criminal records on very minor things like talking back to your teacher. I don't know how bad it is in the UK, but I have heard that gather in groups as a young person is illegal there. etc. then they are getting locked out of the economy

we dont always rap about guns what are u talikin about. We created rap anyway dont disrespect us. We rap about a variety of things. and some of us rap about guns because we had a rough life and been around nothin but gunblast and people gettin killed. We have more violence on our streets than the middle east.

@1991maulwurf as being locked out of the economy. It has some relation to unfair enforcement of laws on the youth, but also there are some real structural issues with youth unemployment. Anyway when you feel like you have no opportunities in a land of opportunity you can't expect anyone to act civil under such circumstances. The US is worse in inequality than the UK, but the UK is quite high compare to Germany. I'm surprised we haven't burned shit down in the US with how we're getting fucked

@sheepeasy I think you read the daily mail too much. Ghanians of which Tinchy is one and Nigerians are on average better educated than white brits. Also along with Chinese and Indian children, Nigerian kids outperform white british children at GCSE level. Before you start writing about "penniless" black men and fatherless immigrants, I think you should be become more knowledgeable. Also yeah 33% of London's population was born abroad, funnily enough, its the richest part of the UK : )

also segregated neighborhoods are because of the cultural beliefs thats more up north stuff like where i am philly but philly all black anyway. but as i was saying if u were in the south they dont have a choice but to live wih black people. black people make up 13% of the nation and 25%in the south. but the rest of the pop isnt white its mexicans and peurtericans and arab that make up 20 % all together white people not foreighn born are 45%of our nation.
