I always thought behind Bill's house was the actual lighthouse. Reason being the anime he owns a lighthouse, but in the games his house is more of a lab. I used to hear rumors about if you got behind Bill's house it would trigger an event where you would get a Dragonite with enhanced stats (to reflect the giant one from the Bill episode) and you could only access it if you revisit him after the S.S. Anne and I believe six badges. I was told he would lament about the ship sinking and tell your player to use a secret door in his house to go to the lighthouse for you to fix it (light stopped working when the Anne went down and Bill heard a sad loud wailing coming from the lighthouse. Having no Pokémon himself, Bill entrusts you to fix the lighthouse). Unfortunately, another small requirement was you needed Zapdos in order to restart the lighthouse, which would wake up the enhanced Dragonite from a spot close by. I know it wound up being fake, but I always figured Pokémon games could be so much more fun albeit tedious if there were more subplots from the anime incorporated. Bill's lighthouse, the island of giant Pokémon (my thought is it would be like a minigame to play since D and Gmaxing weren't around yet. Actually, come to think of it, Bill's anime Dragonite was probably exposed to too many Galar Particles and it became stuck in Dynamax form

@Pranav Pai Facts all of that would have made a better expanded lore base than Let's Go did. Even for a remake, they couldn't have actually added some fun little extra nods to the anime. It's not like they never have referenced the anime in the games here and there if you k ow where to look and who to talk to

The one about the gym guide being the dad just stops at Hoenn, since you have a dad. For Sinnoh, I'm not really sure about the dad, same for Unova. But Kalos and Alola, you just moved to your new house, and maybe there had been a divorce so that's why the parents split. Or maybe, overall, all the parents, aside from Norman, are Veteran trainers?

As for the mythical beast myth in the anime it is pretty much confirmed they used to be eeveelutions. I don’t remember what episode it was but I do remember in the jotho saga there was an episode where they spoke about it. And in one of the scenes you can see the siluettes of the eeveelutions being transformed by ho-oh. Whenever this topic is brought up nobody ever mentions that episode... It always throws me in for a loop bc I remember seeing that episode multiple times, so it has to exist right? Unless I’m having a Mamdela effect I’d say Anime wise that theory is correct. I do find it funny in Generations the 3 pokemon seem to be houndours (going off their siluoettes at least) Gamewise however we don’t know

I can understand as kids we thought the beast trio were dogs but come on it’s beginning to sound really dumb when grown adults keeping calling them dogs. 1 what canines do they look like? I’ll wait. 2 Did raikou’s tiger pattern not give it away, or suicunes leopard pattern, or the clear lion mane inspiration for Entei. Lastly why would the 3 eevee evolutions randomly be in the burned tower at once? The only known eevee in Johto is the one bill gives you and he wasn’t even there for the burned tower event. It would probably make a lot more sense for a rattata to be the base for all of them considering how common they are at burned tower.

Ok the dogs one is off it wasn’t that guy I’m pretty sure it was confirmed in the second or third episode of the first cartoon that it was a flareon, vapourean and jolteon that died and were reincarnated by ho-oh when ash checks out the mural in the Pokémon centre which at the time depicted entei as an arcanine due to enteis design not existing at that point of time the other two being correct.

3:55 they are legendary beasts, not dogs: raikou resembles a sabertooth tiger, entei a lion and suicune a leopard. (rather feline, instead of canine) Also, they couldn't have been the eeveelutions, since vaporeon could've put out the fire, flareon would've resisted the fire and jolteon would've been out of the tower in time. (oh and Eusine is pronounced youzeen)

I don't care if the legendary beast are the eeveelutions or not but I want to know what Pokemon they were before ho-oh reincarnated them. It could be so easily done as well just have a trainer say that there team is to honor the Pokemon that got saved by ho-oh. Seriously though someone has to know the Pokemon that died in the tower or was there trainer and couldn't save them. Oh it would be so sad if they where a trainers and they just stayed crying for there lost Pokemon till ho-oh reincarnated them to make the trainer feel better.

They were the three eveelutions because a popular type trio seen by many legendary pokemon which is fire,electric and ice. What legend trios have this the unova dragons the legendary birds. But suicune may use ice type moves. But it is a water type. The same type as Vaporeon. So yes the three were reincarnated by ho-oh. Also they were more or less enhanced versions of the three. So they could he there EVOLUTIONS 🤔

Hi, actual person with Lavender Town Syndrome here. That frequency does exist in the Japanese Red and Green, HOWEVER it only causes headaches. The reason is because it's a little bit older than RBY and some tracks had that kind of frequency in them in games. This isn't necessarily dangerous for most folks, but at the same time it's not a child-exclusive pitch (says me, a person age 23 at the time of typing this). Even within people we have different hearing ranges, same with sight ranges beyond ocular disabilities. So it exists, but it's not much to worry about.
