Referring to how short Kyoto is on the Bangarang album, Kyoto was designed as a filler in the album. It's just there for an inbetween thing. Ruffneck Bass is the full version of Kyoto.

The song has been through a lot of work. I personally prefer the version floating around as "Drop It Hard". It's a lot more refined than Ruffneck Bass, and has particularly aggressive synths, even more so than Kyoto. But it still has the Ruffneck Bass vocal samples. It's the perfect mix imo, sad that it'll never be released.
