I know that it was a while ago now. But, at 0:24 I noticed a 'Tommy' helmet on the tarp. It has a brown liner? Is it Belgian or did some British helmets come with brown liners?

Ah, no that's a Belgian liner being used as a stand in on a helmet where the liner had deteriorated.

Hi Simon - just looking back at this video as I was sure that I had seen reference to the 'Home Guard' respirator tin on your channel previously. I managed to pick one up at War and Peace this week, however it is missing the string/cord carrying strap. What would your recommendation be for a suitable replacement? Many Thanks

Hi Luke, I can't advise on a source for replacement cord but I understand it is known as 'cod line' It's similar to old cotton washing line cord. If you drop me a message on FB I can send you some close up photos.
