@@スマイル-p5sThat’s what’s implied, but they could have made it more clear. Like showing Morgan kill a subordinate or threaten the townspeople. Helmeppo didn’t even hit Rika, so it felt a bit less oppressive. My Mom, who never watched the original One Piece, understood Morgan was evil though, haha.

I prefer a fight scene to be at a speed that is more realistic. Even in a movie that is a fantasy, if it is live action, a sense of reality can make the characters a little more believable. To me, a fast fight scene looks sloppy, and takes away some of the appreciation of their deliberate movements. Perhaps that is just a cultural difference. There's no real right or wrong answer, just what we each prefer.

That’s a problem with the anime too. When I read the One Piece manga, the battles feel like lightning speed. Huge punches immediately. The anime takes a page you read in 3 seconds into a 3 minute scene. It was terrible when an instant punch by Luffy was turned into a pushing struggle haha
