This brings back some great memories for me. I used to play this every Sunday at the grocery store with my mom. She'd give me some change and I'd play on the SNK cabinet while she did the grocery shopping, I put a lot of time into this, Metal Slug and Sam Sho.

This entry isn't exactly known for aging well compared to his sequels, but man, the stages in this game are so great, they are mostly the reason why i still play it, and the soundtrack is great as well.

@@blaze6477 I also like the stage of the Psycho Soldier team. Ikari Team also has a great stage and I hope we see it in KOF XV The stages of KOF 95 are the best of the Orochi saga in my opinion.

KOF 95, the end of *the Rugal saga* Frankly KOF 94 and 95 feel like the prologue to what is to come next in the Orochi saga. Something like the Saiyan saga is for the Frieza saga in Dragon Ball Z That is why I say that the first two KOFs are the Rugal saga. After KOF 95, our beloved franchise would evolve into something even better that would mark a before and after (KOF 96)

KOF 94 and 95 (Rugal Saga you mentioned) are still real Chapters of the Orochi Saga, Because those 2 Games are even still featured in a KOF Collection Game of the Orochi Saga featuring not only KOF 96 and 97, but KOF 94 and 95 as well, I mean Canonically, Rugal managed to Survive the the Explosion in the Black NOA Ship in 94 was thanks to his Orochi Blood.

@@blaze6477 Have you watched the original dragon ball? Just think of the end of the King Demon Piccolo Arc. After killing Piccolo, the demon lord gave birth to the Piccolo we know in orden to avenge him, and the arc ended with Goku training to be prepare for the next Tenkaichi tournament because Piccolo Jr. was going to be there. The King Piccolo arc and the Piccolo Jr. arc are two different arcs but both have a connection. Something like that are the Rugal saga and the Orochi Saga.

This is also my 1st and favorite KOF game. The presentation, the sprites, the backgrounds, the sound, the music (Especially the arranged tracks) are so good. The game has a rich atmosphere of a world that I would love to visit. The gameplay is another story. It's REALLY punishing. Many of the wave motions and button combinations were always a pain to accomplish, but it always felt amazing once the move works.

This game was one of the first OG games I got physically got my copy on PS1 really fun they really toned Rugal down in this game as a final boss in this game he was incredibly cheap in the OG 94 game Round 2 that is but glad this game made him tolerable it is an endurance match with Saisyu and Omega Rugal also first game where you can built your own team. For the Orochi saga not including 98 UM I’d say 96 and 97 are the best followed by this and then 94 being my least favorite. You oughta do a 94 play through!!!

This was my favorite KOF of the 2 released on the PS1 here in the states. KOF99 definitely had more characters, but 95 just had superior music, super interesting and colorful stages and had some of the best versions of some of the characters. Like Ryo having his air projectile and ground projectile.

Omega Rugal in KOF 95 is probably by far the Hardest KOF Boss in the series.

@@ragingningen6318 But at least in KOF XI, you don't have to beat Shion over and over again to get to Magaki, if you get to him you'll always have Infinite Continues to fight Magaki again if you can figure out the Right Pattern (If he has one). But for Rugal in 95 is the Opposite, if you lose to Rugal, you'll have beat Saisyu over and over again, while leaving one of your Teammates Dead with the same Damaged Life Bar, for that you'll never have enough Time to figure out his Patterns.

I will be honest, I don't like KOF 95 Maybe because it is the hardest game in the series. Also, I don't like the soundtrack. I honestly prefer the music of KOF 94 and it's not because of nostalgia. I didn't start with the classics KOF games. However, there are some themes that stuck in my head. The intro of KOF 95. The Ground-crawling Bass Desert Requiem (I especially like the arranged version) Funky Esaka (I didn't like him at first but over time I have grown fond of him) Farewell! Youth Goodbye Mr. Tear (*my favorite song* both the original and arranged versions are beautiful, always when I listen to it it gives me a feeling of "goodbye" and finality 🥲) Edit: and if you ask, I'm not a fan of the original Stormy Saxophone. I know, I'm weird 🙃

Great vid good gameplay and good humor never dissapoint do you. I know this might come random but i was thinking about it 2 weeks ago if i would get to remaster 3 kof games for the ps4 and ps5 i would remaster KOF 13 KOF 11 and KOF 2003(i doubted between 2003 and 2002 because some people liked 2002 some people didn't. People said 2003 sucked some said it was meh and some even called it badass) but for me it seems like a fun game the only problem is the dull and unsatisfying audio when a combo connects but the roster is good the arcade looks fun and the bosses are cool but too me every KOF game is good except 12 but tell me which 3 games you guys would remaster. Edit: Btw thank you shoryu for the ryo lore because i putted a comment in your vid about kof 15 ryo and robert which i would never know of if it wasn't for the lore video about Ryo.
