It's unfortunate that this man died being so young. A very gifted man.I used to sing his song "ndietagirira mwathani" as a young pastor in 1998 as I was going through difficult time. I have great memories of Peter. When I was in high school, in the '90s' they used to come to my then hometown of Molo to sing and sell cassettes at the bus terminals. ( I could not afford the cassette, I had no cassette player either). So the live show was everything to me. They were with pastor Kuria who was doing "muthini was Ngai" I believe Heze Ndungu was also doing the same. Nostalgic. I went to KZbin wanting to know how he was, only to find he died 21 years ago.

Peter was killed by the producer who swindled him his money from the hit song cumbi cumbi. This made him depressed n started drinking, which caused his body to be weak. That producer should return every penny he took from that song, n the KZbin cash he's still getting out of Peter's songs. This producer should know that he's a cursed man n his generation until he gives back what he took from Peter's family. Peter's children n widow n family suffered so much n are still suffering because of you. I don't know why Gospel singers of that time did not help Peter get his justice.
