I just watched the video again, how bad is the commentary? , talking in short paragraphs. The passing left but actually going right in the most unrealistic fashion, the players running around aimlessly, the kicks not going in the direction that the foot is aiming for, the absurdly loud whistle blow just for a scrum. For people just getting into rugby, this may be OK, for die hard fans, this is terrible and they need to restart the whole thing.

Early access is clearly made for comments and ideas. This this needs to come out on PS5/4 and XBox. So we can all add our views. I believe this would better the game

The kicking looks Stupid and the gamplay as well why did they take Almost 2 years to make such bad gamplay just make rugby 08 with better graphics. Nice Video so we can see the gamplay thanks for the video

Yeah, there is a LOT to work on. But it has a lot of potential and quite a few good things about it now. Licenses are awesome... but the gameplay needs serious work. Especially the rucks.. which are verging on unplayable at the moment.

Rugby 22 gameplay was good enough except the rucks which they have made worse waiting this long for better graphics but terrible gameplay is depressing for the rugby game market

Yeah, the rucks are making the game verge on almost unplayable. I know it's hard to get right, but they are going to have to do a lot better. The gameplay is decent enough though. Far from perfect, but it has potential.

Guys listen I understand you guys want better game play, but remember rugby is way more complicated than Soccer, that is way Fifa is better. In fifa all you do is pass the ball run and shoot the ball way easier to make then Rugby games. Rugby games, there is rucking running everthing so forth that's in rugby. Stop hating on the game, it will get better I believe

It's a similar thing to Cricket 24. That released about as bad as this, but they have managed to improve that a lot.

Best thing about this was the AR telling the Hooker to hold up a sec’ They are clearly focusing on the wrong things It blows my mind how a game like Rugby 08 realeased in ‘07 has smoother gameplay mechanic than any Rugby game prior to it These new rugby games are cashgrabs because they know there are no competition. Watching this video made me throw up, id never want to play shite like this. Even if its early access. It doenst catch the vibe of rugby and looks like cancer mechanically.

Are the players not licensed? They don't look anything like the real players. It's like playing a driving game without licensed cars. It's just not the same. For this, the game gets a BIG no from me. They need to learn from other sports games. Realism adds to the authenticity.
