How can you not get a scrum penalty I’ve played in the front row for 22 years and you should of at least had 5 scrum penalties totally dominating buy Walsall

just because a team is going backwards doesn't mean they've committed any offences, its hard to see what's actually happening from an angle so far away

@@jjobeyy if there going backwards means there not scrumiging properly which will result in penalties and potentially a yellow card

@@matthewjames21 not necessarily, if they don’t go to ground/turn in it any other scrum penalty they could be pushed back the length of the pitch technically

@@jjobeyy don’t know what rugby you been watching but from my 22 Years playing in the front row I’ve been pushed back and given penalties against me and I’ve pushed my opponent backwards and they have had a penalty given against them

@@matthewjames21 you cant concede a penalty just for being pushed back… it’s not illegal to be worse at scrumming than the other team, that being said most of the time a team being pushed back does eventually start giving penalties away as they adjust to try and push back

The odd mistake by a ref is fine but that many when you dominate scrums hurts your strongest weapon - Rob is getting to be my favourite player who knew such a handsome Prince ran like a toddler who doesn't want to go in the bath!!!!!

Loving the content here...mostly... because I'm a ref: how about interviewing/discussing stuff with a ref as part of your channel: they get a load of sh*t on social media as publicised in the national press, and a balanced view/ discussion from a well respected content creator might help make that situation better (appreciate that it doesn't make for a good 'story' though...)
