Switch quickly to an inside player and run across with him in case the 1 on 1 defender misses him. Also time the tackle better

I got the game yesterday, playing on amateur. I can defend well but can't seen to open the opposition AI up. Iv only played 10 games and had 0-0 a few times! I'm trying to play a realistic kind of style. Any ideas anyone?...

These game developers really need to address the zigzagging players can do. You can get a lot better at defending it. However, it's still difficult to anticipate when and how to position your player to match the opponents continuous switch of directions without no loss in speed whatsoever. That's all I've seen in this video.

+walezfynest did you listen to what i said in the video at all? also anticipation is a part of the game. a video game of rugby league will always have this zig zag stuff because of the type of game it is. you aren't going to just run straight at a player are you. if they can fix it, great. If not, deal with it imo

I'm humble about conceding a well earned try but I cant deal with that sorta BS. If most users are going to continually abuse something so flawed then this game is not worth playing online. How can game developers ignore basic physics? Is it difficult to program the players to decelerate when switching angles? You're sprinting sudden 90 degree angles to score your tries lol....okeh

I feel you but I don't think it'd an easy fix. Changing direction happens, it's just that 1 on 1 over the internet, it's hard to predict what the other person will do. It happened on rll2 as well
