incredible, and we had two kicks at goal to win, but didn't. The Boks were deserved after a series of one pointers agianst the best (including the final) - I only now watched a replay hahah (too hard for me for many months as an ABs fan).

I'm an all blacks fan. I remembered before the WC people were rating us very bad. I didn't believe the media and analysts. I believed in the team, they laid low. They showcased the power of self-belief. Even though we lost in that final by one point. I'm proud of the boys sticking together right from that first pool game loss against France. ALWAYS BLACK ⚫️

I remember the so-called pundits writing the ABs off, and I was thinking, it's really not a smart thing to do, but I think the NH was so caught up in the hype and probably the hope of the cup returning to the north that they were a bit naive to write off the ABs. I always knew the ABs were in it to win it. It was a tough final, I didn't sit down for the whole game. Love you guys and the rivalry. From a saffa.

That means he loses all momentum and has a standing start. Cane and Kriel are similar heights which means it isn’t easy to get shoulder to head. In fact, he almost has to raise. The reddest red of the tournament. And that’s a defensible statement of fact. You can look at all the card incidents in all the games and not see a tackle like that sans mitigation.

And have only lost to 7 counties out of the 21 counties they have faced. Don’t get me wrong SA is a great team and deserves praise but they don’t have the history in winning as the all blacks do. @@cy-villian In the pro era the ABs have consistently been the benchmark with other teams claiming that occasionally. Amateur era it would be neck and neck between the ABs and Boks with a slight edge to the Boks perhaps. In terms of knockout rugby, the Boks have the slight edge overall.

I know what you mean. I've been unable to watch the final and relive the heartbreak. Knowing the pain the boys were going through was tough. The ABs were going through real adversity in 2022 and 23, so to get to the final was incredible. The only way is up and I believe the ABs will be back stronger than ever ❤️

The Red Card did take it's effect on the players what officials and referees don't realise is if one person gets it affects the performance and physical well-being for the rest of them making them create errors under pressure and struggling mentally all this should not happen by the TMO and Officials of the Final Game.

I remember the lead-up to the World Cup and how all the media was hyping up the Northern Hemisphere and said SA might be in the conversation but this is going to be the year a NH team wins it... as a South African, I said their biggest mistake was leaving the All Blacks out of the conversation and writing off because of one or two bad test matches, I'm glad they learned the hard way. I am also happy that we got our 4th before the start of the Razor era because I see another dominant All Black period coming.

Past is past. This is a difficult pill to swallow as an All Blacks fan. But the luck wasn't never with ABs that day. Pollard's first kick hit the post and went in, Jordie's 73th minute kick went into the middle but then deviated to out. Hopefully Razor will bring back those dominant ABs back!

As a South African supporter I am going to join a lot of my compatriots in expressing my utmost respect to this great team called the All Blacks. To be truly honest, one of those two missed kicks goes in, I think the All Blacks would have won this game. As a supporter of this beautiful game it is hard not see how at the very highest level it really is a game of fine margins. Biggest respect and love to the All Blacks from the Republic.
