I was getting 2 sometimes 3 stove pipes per magazine. (Factory Glocks mags.) Changed over to M Carbo ejector rod and recoil spring. Shot 250 rds today. Had 2 stove pipes in the beginning and the rest of the day went flawless. Easy fix and definitely worth the money. Now I'm gonna get the trigger and buffer. Very satisfied customer

Steel buffer with closed cell neoprene padding would be nice. And a little retaining 'c' pin being made from steel would be more reassuring than the factory polymer one that holds all the spring tension.

A rubber backed buffer, maybe some hardened aluminium would be great. The plastic doesnt sit well with me.

@@MCARBO Look at some of the buffers made by Buffer Technologies. I can't tell if they are still in business or not. They may have been acquired by Galatin International. Anyways, they made a bunch of nice buffers made out of Delrin and molded polyurethane.

I've ordered all your upgrade parts, I'm looking forward to the improved performance, in particular the recoil and extraction. The factory extractor is hard on the brass. I think a better buffer is a good idea as well as a better charging handle. Your videos are very informative and easy to follow, thanks for the excellent work!

Thanks for the video. I believe aluminum trigger and better charging handle and buffer would help. Also, I’ve seen videos with complains about the ejector, could be something you may consider investigating.

Is there a way to make a silent buffer? A hard-ish foam block, maybe? And I like the slick bolt handle, but would like a larger model. Maybe a roller style? (Like on a flyfishing reel). Oh, I like the new spring you made!

Please consider a oops kit. The two bolt pins and the looking clip at the end of the buffer spring. If you drop while stripping.

Yes Sir, much needed. We ran into the same issue. Losing pins and Extractor Springs. Can't get these parts from Ruger unless you send in the entire firearm for "warranty work" to replace a missing part. So I tried this out. It did deaden the recoil a bit, but it made sight recovery worse. Any chance you will make a reduced power recoil spring for people using lighter competition ammo?

The plastic buffer is flimsy and bends easily where the rod is held. YES, please improve it and I will buy it! Also, a non ripoff flat trigger. I think there may only be 2 on the market.

Would love to see an improved charging handle, better trigger, and more rugged buffer. Do you think your new heavier spring will help with the problem of light primer strikes I'm getting with the NATO spec +p 124gr ammo? About one in every 15 to 20 rounds I'll get a light primer strike and then have to eject that round to continue firing from the magazine. If yes, I'll order one today!

@@MCARBO It's possible the ammo is the problem, since it's inexpensive Winchester white box NATO spec 124gr from Walmart. Maybe the ammo was government contract rejected because of the light primer strike issues and they wanted to unload cheap to the public?? I need to do more testing with different kinds of ammo and see what kind of results I get.

You said this spring is for Heavy loads, what if I am loading light loads for my PCC, I shoot USPSA matches and I keep my loads at about 130 power factor, is this spring still recommended??

Length isn't what makes the difference in this instance. Thicker gauge and higher tension is the magic of it.
