I was expecting two blacksmiths with hammers to mold the suppressor into a knife in the end

Holy shit bro!! LOL You showed some brass cojones as you kept your composure when that round cooked off out of battery like that and finished the demonstration like nothing happened. That shit was hilarious. I'm buying your Razor this Saturday. AWESOME!!

That's actually pretty impressive. No other manufacturer I can think of off the top of my head would do a video like this. I'll definitely be taking a look at your site.

I have been asking manufacturers to do this! Rugged Suppressors, YOU HAVE MY ATTENTION!

This video is one of the reasons why I purchased a Rugged Surge suppressor. First off, Rugged has an excellent warranty (which I never needed) and the suppressor can obviously handle anything I will ever put it through. Also, you can get a quick detach muzzle break at a very reasonable price, mine were around $80.00, a QD muzzle break for another suppressor I have is over $250.00, needless to say, several rifles I own has the Rugged QD which makes swapping it between rifles a breeze. Lastly, this thing is modular and can be shortened for a carbine, I've never used the shortened version......but I can if I want to. Thanks Rugged for a great product, when ever someone asks me which suppressor I would recommend (I have a handful) yours is the first. Good stuff guys!

I'd like to see some images of the suppressors internals and the adapt module. It looked like there was some chunks of stuff coming apart the last few mags. Not that it shows a failure of your product. But you just can't continuously mag dump full auto through any suppressor like that, at those temperatures and pressures without some sort of baffle deformation. That was pretty intense!

Sure thing! We're working on another video detailing some of the features and benefits of our Stellite core. We have a few cans that we've run hard and will be featured in the video to highlight any potential wear issues.

Stellite, Inconel 716, 17-4 stainless, Gr5 Ti...............those are super-alloys and are the very best materials a can will be fabricated from. That was unreal performance. My hat is off to Rugged.

Considering that civilians will never have a need to run a suppressor this hard, job well done! I won't be able to do more than talk about buying a suppressor until I have completed my move back home to North Carolina. Once I'm done, I think I know what brand suppressor I going to buy.

That's great that you can torture a can, but this didn't prove much of anything to me. For all I know you put this can on the shelf after doing this video and never used it again. What I want to know is how this can held up after it cooled down. I want to know if it was still serviceable and for how long. I want to know if there was a POI shift after this abuse. I want to know if it will still work five years after this abuse. These are the things that are important to me.
@fuqak478 жыл бұрын
you're deranged and know little about these devices if what you saw wasn't a test that should blow your mind. mil-spec suppressors can't generally take that kind of abuse without exploding. Very amazing results. You need to get off arfcom, and start doing some individual research. You'll have a better understanding of what you're actually watching, and why your questions have zero emphasis.
@havegregory8 жыл бұрын
fuqak47, generally speaking, if you want someone to listen to you don't start by trying to insult them. That said, this comment is not intended for you, but to the critical thinkers out there that may stumble upon it. As a consumer I don't care that this can appears to hold up to this sort of abuse. This can appears intact after the torture, but at what cost to its performance and/or longevity? I care about how this can holds up months and years after the abuse.
@TinkerTailorSoldier18 жыл бұрын
+SIXundSIXTY just know a round cooked off in the chamber before the suppressor failed. That's saying a lot. & depending on the metal (of it didn't bulge or slop) it will be fine after it cools down. As far as shifts in the point of aim. Barrels by them selves can experience that (unsuppressed) when they hear up (hence why lmg have quick change barrels) But pretty much any suppressor will have a shift in impact but that has a lot to do with the ammo type (rifle/pistol), weight, sub or super sonic.

@TheDragonDelasangre6 жыл бұрын
Ya sure it's glowing orange and stuff, but what do the baffles look like, what does the blast chamber look like? Can you actually get that end piece off? Did you just ruin the heat treat and make the metal soft? This is fun to watch but that guy was in a hurry and didn't really act in a safe manner and honestly this doesn't prove anything about the silencer. 99.9% of people will never do this so the true test is POI shift and actual sound suppression to the shooters ear and at the muzzle.

Normal steel usually doesn't start to change colors until around 900F and turns liquid around 3000F so I'd say that thing was like 1700-2400F

My Razor 762 disengaged about 80% then didn't come off and spun near the top and destroyed my QD threads and the threads in the suppressor. Not sure what the issue was but now I'm f'd. Waited 8 months to use it once and now its a 700 dollar paper weight. If you are considering a suppressor, I strongly recommend against it. Skip it and save the endless headaches that come with it. Having delicate threads on a suppressor is definitely a design flaw. My YHM has very thick threads and they cant cross thread and if they are misaligned or the QD isnt completely engaged or disengaged nothing happens, they cant get bent. Having something called "rugged" that was so easy to destroy and render useless with a few pounds or hand tightening is pretty disappointing to say the least. SKIP it
