Embark on a thrilling adventure with us as we take on a seven-day whitewater canoe trip down the remote and challenging Dog River, also known as the, Nimoosh River, and University River. This journey pushes the limits with its relentless rapids and wild, untamed beauty. From navigating intense whitewater to mastering technical maneuvers, every moment is a test of skill and endurance. Joining us on this epic expedition are renowned KZbinrs ‪@TheRealTedBaird‬ , ‪@XanderBudnick‬ , his brother ‪@maximbudnick‬ , Brad Jennings of ‪@ExploreTheBackcountry‬ , and Brad's buddy Cam. Together, we'll paddle through this rugged wilderness, experiencing the raw power and stunning scenery of the Dog River. Each bend in the river reveals new challenges which include massive waterfalls and breathtaking vistas.
Our expedition continues as we transition from the turbulent river to the majestic expanse of Lake Superior's north shore. Here, the serene yet exposed coastline presents its own set of challenges and rewards. The vastness of the lake, with its cold, clear waters and towering cliffs, offers a striking contrast to the river's rapid-filled course. Alongside Ted, Xandar, Maxim, Brad, and Cam, we'll navigate this iconic stretch of shoreline, where the views are nothing short of spectacular-crystal blue waters meeting dramatic rocky outcrops under the wide northern sky. We also mange to catch a mess of fish and stop for a shore lunch feast along the big lake. Insane rapids full of boulders! I've never seen anyone run rapids that treacherous. I rafted one of our local rafting routes with little rapids, mostly calm water. The worst thing that happened to us was a bunch of college kids, also in rafts. were mooning everybody. Great adventure for the five of you. All thrill seekers and expert canoeists.

A really enjoyable epic adventure trip with all the spills and thrills and beautiful scenery in a pretty unknown part of the woods, catching fish, glimpses of local wild life was a bonus and when the duck abandoned their eggs, all I could think was missing a nice big omelette 😅

The dog River barked at you guys but didn't bite excellent video. You have your biggest smile when you're running rapids. The campsite at the end on the island was such an awesome drone shot. Reminded me of some of the rapids on the Sturgeon but they were mild compared to the ones who ran.
