There's an odd kind of house cat called the "Maine coon cat"....like a breed....no one knows where it came from. I've heard that it was originally some accidentally produced cross of a common house cat and a Maine Lynx, a similar animal that lives in Maine. They are double the size of an ordinary cat and act a bit like the Lynx in these pictures.

Mike Hughes we saw them as a family again and all the kits were healthy and well fed. Their Mama is a terrific hunter.

Lynxes are beautiful, but I would like to remind all the people who want to feed them or "adopt" them that they're wild animals, not house cats. These kittens seem quite healthy, and their Mama seems to be taking good care of them!

Candy Opal There are some Lynx that have been rehabilitated and become friends with humans. But usually that is not the case! They are wild and free and agile hunters! 🤗
