I do believe Etho has stated in one of his Let's Plat videos, (I believe around episode 150, but I'm entirely unsure) that he would still work a job even though KZbin is making him more money then his actual job. It's not about him not being good. He's a great entertainer. So are a lot of people, but like him, they don't have many subscribers. Just because he's not well known doesn't mean he isn't a great KZbinr. And I would say 100,000 subscribers is pretty successful. He loves his job and many people love his content. He puts many many hours into his videos and cares about his subs.

I can't speak for Etho about the first question, but other Mindcrackers at some points will use bad language around him. For example in the Calamity PvP round 1 there were some things said that you did not hear in Etho's video because he edited them out which he will often do with bad language.

I don't use bad language either in my videos or RL for multiple reasons: 1. Curse words are over-used and over-rated. I know tons of people who drop an F-bomb nearly every single sentence. Why? If it really held no malice and was just a word it would be used as much as the word it means. 2. Bad connotations. Curse words usually mean things that don't need to be discussed in everyday conversation. 3. The Bible says so. 4. Make my channel kid-friendly. 5. Make my channel parent-friendly.
