Fun fact: The whole thing with John Titor was real as you guys already know, and he was able to predict a couple futures that came to pass! Furthermore, the SERN in Steins;Gate is modeled after the genuine CERN. In fact, the anime omits a lot of information when compared to the visual novel, although primarily for reasonable reasons. It's unfortunate that Kurisu's entire lecture was excluded from the anime because it was such an engaging debate throughout the VN, with a thorough explanation of the various time travel ideas and their viability. 🔥🔥🔥

Rewatching the anime, you pick up on so many details that are important later, but wouldn’t know about on a first time watch.(the first time watch does blow your mind though with how important the small details were) It’s very fun rewatching this series in particular, even if the first watch will never be topped.

Shonentards who aren't interested in time travel or character dynamics will fall asleep to this anime, that's just the sad reality. But It is by no means slow. So many interesting things are happening just within the first 2-3 episodes, these people are just spoiled by action and animation that they think nothing is happening.

Yeah I never understand why people would think the anime being slow. If it's about the Visual Novel then I agree, visual novel is way slower and way harder to bare that some of the "let's play" video makers I watched actually dropped it midway. But the anime actually changed quite a few things to speed up the pacing, I never understand how much faster some audience want it to be.

"Lightning-Speed Night Heart" is the online name of Takumi Nishijo, the MC of Chaos;Head, which takes place a year before Steins;Gate. The anime cuts most of the connections.

What I like about this show is they actually take stuff that's in the real world and twist it into some of their own Science Fiction shit. John titor is real, but its just an online persona that was active in year 1998-2001 appearing in online forums. No one actually knows the guy behind it. Even the one you googled in the video might not be him (its wikipedia which is not a good source)
