i think abu Muhammad and farid ayaz are the greatest qawwal alive also they sing many new qalams which nobody else sings i request dream journey to record as many qawalis of them as possible and some small interviews (of 4 - 5 minutes) on qawali and raags and bandish so that people will understand them and appreciate what they are doing

As the days pass by, the more I realise how invaluable this resource has become. The Dream Journey is doing more to preserve our heritage and culture, than any other institute or body that I can think of. Many of us born and raised in the west lose the full grasp of our mother languages. We can hold a conversation but lack the ability to go in depth; so the translations on the videos brings us a step closer to fully appreciate the mastery on display. One humble request of mine if possible, is to show any conversations and banter pre, during and post performances. And if at all possible record in-depth conversations (especially with Fareed Ayaz) on Qawwali, philosophy, history, religion etc. This in my opinion would add more layers and depth to the preservation efforts you are undertaking. May your dream journey be a safe and fulfilling one.
