Rukmini Vivah Mantra | Powerful Mantra for Delayed Marriages | Vivah Prapti Mantras | Must Listen
00:03 - Rukmini Vivah Mantra
Rukmani was the principal wife of Lord Krishna, the kind of Dwarka. Rukmani was the daughter of King Bhishmaka, the king of Vidharbha. Bhishmaka had five sons namely Rukmi, Rukmartha, Rukmabahu, Rukmakesha and Rukmamali. Bhishmaka was an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna and he wanted his daughter Rukmani to marry Lord Krishna. Rukmani was divinely beautiful and virtuous. Rukmi, Rukmani's brother however was not happy with the marriage and he pressurised his father to get Rukmani married to a wicked person Shishupal. Shishupal and Rukmani's marriage was fixed. Rukmani was enchanted by the greatness of Lord Krishna and wanted to get married to him only. She sent message to Lord Krishna explaining that if she doesn't get married to Lord Krishna, she will end her life. Lord Krishna headed straight to take Rukmani and Balaram went behind him to support him. Sri Krishna elopes with Rukmani but is crossed by Shishupal's gang. Sri Krishna defeated all the foes and set out to Dwarka along with Rukmani. Later Sri Krishna marries Rukmani in a grand manner in Dwarka. In some scriptures it is written that Lord Krishna reached Madhavpur Ghed after eloping with Rukmani and got married to her at the very same place in a simple manner. There is a temple in Madhavrai to keep this memory alive. A cultural fest is held every year in Madhavpur to celebrate the victory of Lord Krishna.
