I am instantly addicted.!! I wish I had a FPV visor but I will be fine without it... for now. 😊 this experience has been really great so far. I will keep pushing my limits everytime I fly. Over the water next, followed by a ramp jump over the hovering quadcopter. These are exiting times.! 😊

I think that the go home feature is really great. I have nothing to compare it to so I guess I am being spoiled by the feature. It will allow me to send this rig out far without a care. The more I get comfortable with it the farther I will send it. All in all I really like it.!! 😊

Wicked sweet Drone Brian ! Ruko’s got their stuff together. Your doing it the right way. Start with short , fairly close flights, test a feature or two, come back later and try again expanding your boundaries, as well as testing more functions. This is so cool, especially the zoom on the camera. My phantom doesn’t have that! Well, I’m very happy for you man. That's the crazy part that I must get over... I need to be able to trust the bird to do what it does. I think that this rig is good for almost 2 miles.!! To me that just not possible.!! 🤣🤣🤣 But I am doing exactly what you said, take my time and learn this thing one step at a time. The next thing I'm trying is the follow me feature. The last thing I'm trying is jumping over it with an RC Car Ken Block style.!!

Once you pay for said license then every drone you have/fly must be registered… Here you can literally get in more trouble flying a harmless toy @ the beach. Than you can for drinking alcohol or smoking weed @ a playground with kids running around! It’s So “Bass-ackwards” some of our stupid laws!?

I am super happy with this new rig.!! And I am pretty sure we have regulations here too. I think that this bird is 61 grams over the 500 Gram limit. I am checking this out Monday morning. I'm sure it's a simple license. Keep you posted on that one. 👍😊🏆

What I've learned with both Gim 1 and 2. It lands in the area it took off at. It won't land exactly where it took off. I've been practicing landing on the expensive landing pad from ruko lol. It's big enough lol. While landing you can yaw and get it into place. Now I'm able to land on the pad. I want to land directly in the middle. But haven't done so yet. I'm going to try in camera mode next. Maybe I'll have better luck. At least I've manage to get it on the landing pad itself. Also if you want which i did. You can purchase landing legs for that drone. It's i believe less than 15dollars. I also purchased blade guards as well. Now no matter grass or sand. I can land anywhere for the most part. But check out Amazon for both. Good price. I enjoy the ruko.

I have only been able to fly my GIM2 twice due to weather. I hope to get it back out there soon. Being able to land in the grass will be very good for me. I'm in the mountains of North Carolina. Not much concrete out here. I hope to film one of our epic sunsets soon. I just know that it will be an amazing video. I really appreciate your great comment. We share our like of Ruko.!! 🏎😊🏆

Absolutely amazing!! I was wounding if the app had a way to share to KZbin and edit ? How do you download the footage from the drone via computer 💻 or a mobile app ? I’m interested in getting something here in a couple more months have have the DJI SE in my Amazon cart 🛒 😊

Make sure you check one of these out too. The 4K footage is super easy to get to the computer. The drone carries a separate micro SD card on board. You will also get the same file in 1080p on your phone via the app. This rig is super easy to fly and super easy to setup. I'll have to check out the drone you are looking at. Do a comparison and all.

Ok, so there is no editor in the Ruko app itself. But the videos are saved in the phone and are easy to port to an editor on your phone. Like I said before this rig does have a spot for the microSD card. Other than that there are other differences. The price of course. The RUKO is more expensive but has a better camera and more features. But with the extra money I'm not sure how much more DJI you would be able to get. Two really big pluses for the RUKO... first the calibration process on the RUKO is the easiest and most accurate. I have seen many videos on this. Second is the no fly zone thing. If you live too close to an airport the DJI literally will not fly. Military spot... same thing. Just double check your area. The Ruko has geofencing but not for no fly zones for some reason. I am pretty sure the DJI is made from better materials not that the Ruko feels cheap in any way I could tell. There's a bunch of other videos on the Ruko, I would check them out before making the decision. Hope this helps my bro.!
