In Black Butler, turning their back on mother nature could work as saying 'Turning their back on the creator', because some people refer to God as she and God made the world in this same world where angels and demons walk. Thinking of the days of creation, it's kind of an interesting way of looking at it.

+Kumiko Akira A bit, yes. It's basically the same. Although under the circumstances Ciel was in when he made the pact seemed just as dark as Sebastian. The trafficking of young children for prostitution and human sacrifices was about as godless as humans can create. The light was nowhere to be found and Ciel didn't search for it. He took an opportunity which was unnatural for the time and raised a demon in his own mind. He seemed to say 'dammit, my life is precious, I'm going to get myself out of here even if I raise the devil himself'. The Jewish/Christian/Muslim God who is known for the creation of angels and demons was also sometimes known to destroy whole cities out of anger and so Ciel could have very well chosen the angels to fight these cultists but I think Ciel wanted complete control and angels need faith while Sebastian needs orders. Ciel had no faith in anyone anymore. It's like being a victim of abuse by police officers. He no longer trusted the system because the system lost its rights when it decided he needed to be put in a cage and destroyed for doing nothing wrong. I probably shouldn't have wrote the first comment because I realize that saying the world is split into good and bad isn't an easy thing to argue. Ciel upheld a certain amount of light by using the evil he raised to fight the evil who created him. It's all a little confusing to me. ^^'

I think the closest thing that we could compare about moral grey thing which Ciel faced is similar to Gotham. Imagine if you don't have Batman in that city...

+Kumiko Akira You'd hope that if everyone evil in that city were pure evil, they would end up destroying themselves and each other in that dog eat dog world. Batman is unfortunately more of a school yard supervisor. He shuts some of the villains away but ultimately gives them a common goal to destroy. I don't know much about Batman but I wonder if he's doing the city and good in that way. That city needs more than a prison system or capitol punishment. Clearly beating people to a pulp isn't working for its morality. There will always be psychopaths, but by letting them fester or by upping the type of power they need to gain to survive, the problems of these two societies don't seem to dim, they only seem to build with new accomplices. I like what you said. Ciel being considered the Victorian Batman sounds all kinds of good. Great angle.

omg it is a mix xD the fact that it looks like a film roll was in the anime..and then i made it jump upwards so you wouldn't see the whole image...and then I added some particles on top...:P AND I made the clip go faster so it rolled faster lol..
