HOMEWORK:- How is the trabeate principle of architecture different from the arcuate? ANSWER:- The trabeate style or corbelled style of architecture is seen in temples, mosques, tombs, and step - wells developed between the 8th and 13th century. In this kind of style, the roofs, doors, or windows are made by making two vertical columns and then placing horizontal beams across them. The arcuate style began to be used from the 12th century AD. In this style buildings are constructed with arches rather than columns to support the superstructure above the doors and windows. It also used limestone cement mixed with chips of stone in construction making it easier and much faster in the construction of the large structures. Thank you ma'am for this explanation session 🤩☺

The trabeate principle of architecture is different from the arcuate principle mainly because it uses horizontal components, such as beams on lintels, rather than arches. These principles have developed in different architectural traditions. Thank you mam for this wonderful session 👍🏻🙏🥰❣️
