when I play - we play for recreational fun. Rules are close to what we need to keep the players happy. -- Which state do you play in? We play in Florida

I play mainly in Minnesota put travel to state and national tournaments in other states. We have nights for tournament practice and other nights we play for fun. We have Intermediate and Advanced nights and try to follow the rules that will be used in tournaments. I believe this video was recorded at a Minnesota State Tournament a few years ago. It was an advanced co-rec match.

Not sure who posted this but here are the rules that differ from indoor volleyball. A ball may contact one side wall or your own back wall on an over or serve. Any number of walls may be used for play on your own side. Hitting the opponent’s back wall or ceiling is out. Nothing below the waist can be used to contact the ball. This is co-Ed and they are requiring a woman to contact the ball if there is more than one contact. Let serves are a fault and players may not climb the walls to attack a ball.

Play is done in a racquetball court. There are nets with suction cups of your gym doesn’t have bolts installed.
