After playing a poorly designed pavlov map I've realy began to pick up on good map design especially cover placement and this map is realy realy good An open map but where ever you look there's cover to dive in an out of but that closes of sight lines for sneeky sossig flanks Big up to the map maker

yeah cover is super necessary for tnh as well, if you dont break LOS sosigs will SHRED you. ive found some maps that dont provide easy to use cover, or prioritize looks over playability are far less fun. after seeing how many times jedit was able to just duck behind a rock, id say this one has done a pretty good job.

Reminds me of the community map BF4 made way back when. Its liberating to know we have the power to make our own maps in this game. I gotta give this map a try. Better yet, after I release the NEXT skin trailers this week, I'll get started making my own maps. I know one of my goals is to slip easter eggs in em.

What's so nice about modding H3 as opposed to something like say Blade and Sorcery is that it's apart of a full ecosystem of Unity mods that all share the same mod loader- Thunderstore ModLoader. I was surprised to see H3 on there as someone who already modded Risk of Rain 2; it's as simple as finding the mods you want, and downloading them- they'll download the required dependent mods along with them.

Yes. The modular mods are my favorite thing ever. You can just build your own gun and it works perfectly.

1:09 it´s just a European style mag release where instead of there being a button near the trigger there is a little tab that you squeeze while pulling the mag out

Fun fact, the Madsen LAR is a nose rock. Have to tilt the mag at a angle like an AK. Of course this is from my time playing the game of course. Will get this map a try, am a sucker for anything Vietnam related.

Do you ever post your mod lists anywhere? Or have any you always use but then build off of? There’s so many mods now it’s tough to choose which ones to load up for a game.

I tend to just build up a list until my game crashes, wipe it and start again. The ones I need are all found in "The_Essentials" mod pack by Andrew_FTW, with some tweaks to the grapple hook mod.

@@tired_crusader901 Yeah I have a Quest 1 and the right controller stick got really bad after about 75 hours of H3 (twinstick controls). I've tried alcohol cleaning, compressed air, battery resets, and probably something else that I can't think of right now, but nothing has really permanently worked, so I switched to armswinger (which has been pretty nice for the 200 more hours since). If you find any fixes though I'd love to hear about them because other vr games don't exactly provide things like armswinger.

What are your settings because I cannot find the option for that thing you do by flinging the objects to you and you bring up this options menu on your hands which tell you what ammo and gun you using it would be so useful.

The gun name/held object info is part of the base game, no settings toggle for that. The Alyx grabbity gloves are an option in the input area of the options panel, if i remember correctly
