I don't get why dating is such a big deal that people online feel the need to ship certain people together, even if they barely know each other/ see them in one video. As a subscriber, I always remind myself that it's privaliged information and, most of all, none of my business. I know the girls hardly share personal things, and I honestly think that's best because, no matter how big or small you are online, certain information just shouldn't be in the public. I have no right to bully anyone or demand to know who they like or what they do. And I certainly don't have the right to TELL them who to like or what to do. We really need to respect boundaries, and let people live their lives. Even if we don't agree, it doesn't give us any authority to boss them around.

This is honestly one of their best lives. It’s so good for them to do this when so many other people don’t from fear, threats, and other things. I think of it as, everyone is the wizard of Oz, you have no idea what is happening behind the curtain of someone’s life unless they pull it back and let you see. Others can’t see through that curtain, your curtain. So those people who assume and really, truly believe that they are right, just swallow your pride and rethink, just like they said. Think about it, why do you have to be right and take it out on them or others you know. Just swallow your pride, realize your mistake, and let it go. Just let it go. Hold out your phone, for a minute, for an hour, for a day. How does it feel? Heavy, right? Put it down and let it go, it’s not important, and really, what difference does it make to your life. If someone hurt you, Don’t linger on it, all it will do is hurt you, not the other person. Your anger will only hurt you, it has no affect on them. Anyway, that’s what I had to say.

Something I learned from my parents, that they learned throughout their lives is that often times bullies have a hard life at home. Most bullies are being bullied themselves or hurt by family and friends and try to make themselves feel better by hurting others. They try to claim their dominance above everyone else by hurting other people. This is not to say that it is ok to hurt others. But sometimes we need to help those that hurt us because everyone is human and everyone has a deep desire for love. 💖💖💖

I love my mother. today I argued with her. I think I have an anger issues. when someone who I love and care confronts me I act so sensitive and then I can't control myself. I lost my dad (he passed away because of the cancer) and have fears of death and always think something is wrong with me, so my mum was angry about that because I always complaining and think random things. Yes I know, she is right but when she yells at me I can't control myself. What can I do? I care what she thinks and when she can't understands me it hurts but I love her so much and now I feel so bad because I called her bad things and told her that I hate her but I was angry and that's why. I told her to leave me alone multiple times because I knew I was gonna say something stupid and then I would feel so bad and ohh I hate myself. I always promise myself that I will get better but I can't, my anger won't let me. I pissed her off 😔 what can I do to be able to control myself? Can someone relate?

I would highly recommend seeing a therapist so you can work on your anger issues. Talk about that with your mom, tell her you're sorry and please work on that ok? We all get mad and that's completely normal but if you feel like you're crossing lines then you should probably get some help to deal with that. Don't go hating yourself because of it, it's not your fault. Also, just remember you're not alone ok? People love and care about you, just like I know you love and care about people too

Wow, I pray that God will help your situation! And you should talk to your mom about what you go through. Like when you guys are not upset with each other. Talk it out with her, tell her about all of your struggles, concerns, and fears. Trust me, it helps! I struggled with depression in late 2016 and 2017, and I went to my mom to talk to her about it and now I am perfectly happy! Even if you are not Christian, pray. If you don't know how to pray, just talk to God about how you feel.

I struggled with depression in 2017, so mental health is very important to me! Even though God helped me through my depression, sometimes I still cry for no reason. But what helps me is knowing that someone is always there to comfort you, sometimes I would go to my mom for a hug and cry it out, and she sits there and comforts me. Or I go to my dad and get him to pray for me. Just talking to someone or having someone there to comfort you is one of the greatest feelings in the world. Or just having someone pray for you, even someone you don't know. It helped me, and now I am a very happy person. To anyone who is struggling with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, self-deprecation, I pray that God will help you through your trails. I know you will see this through, surround yourself with people who care about you. And never be afraid to ask for help. And if you feel weak, ask God for help, he is always there, even if no one else. If you have never prayed before, I recommend that you try it, just pour out your heart to God and he will listen.

My mum never talked about it openly so when I got bullied I started falling in to bad habits and my mum found out and then she talked to me about it a bit but she just expected me to suddenly stop. I never got a counsellor and I don’t think my mum cared that much but I started talking to my friends and being open. My friends helped me more than my own family. I’m in a better place now but I still have some bad habits and seem to overthink that people hate me. I also had trouble with coming out and stuff and still haven’t come out to everyone but so far the people I have told have been so supportive. I’m starting to heal and am heading up in the right direction. I love you guys and your family.

So many people I know deal with a mental illness, my mom deals with it (which makes ME feel depressed) and it's just so important...I want to dedicate my life to helping people who have a hard time dealing with mental health. I used to have anxiety and deppresion back in early 2018, when my grades were getting low and i was warned about not passing my 8th grade. I was already thinking about suicide and ending my own life. Which is not healthy for a teen to think about. Also i was getting hate from my friends. But there are some of my friends who keep pushing me to never give up and i really appriciate that. Then i went back to god, and because i am a muslim and in the muslim religion, we usually do a certain pray which is called tahhajud which is basically pray in the morning before shubuh time to beg to god about what we want (i am not trying to pursue you to join my religion). And i started to work harder and always listen to my parents advice. And 1 year later, Alhamdulillah (Thank you to god in arabic) i got in one of the favorite public high schools in jakarta. I want to say thankyou to my parents, my friends, and my teachers for getting me back on track on working hard. And i want to say thank you to god to lead me and helped me to get back to my productive attitude. And my last message, dont end your own life if you are stressed, talk to someone, whether its a parent, or someone else.

We take those learned lessons and try to impart that wisdom to our family and friends, in hopes that it will make their journey a little less hectic. Paul, you and Wendy have done a wonderful job raising two caring and engaging daughters. I don't say this because I know either of you, but because your efforts live on in your children and the residuals are paying off before our eyes. Many words would be appropriate to describe Roni and Nessa ( all good ), but I think you two have instilled something I prize dearly in people and that is Empathy. No matter the time or situation , you can always see the empathy in their eyes or their body language, or hear it in their voices. Thank you for sharing your children with the rest of us in this topsy turvy world, we need all the inspiration we can get. I feel like people that say these type of things is because they are going through stuff so a way to boost their self esteem is by sitting behind a screen and saying things without consequences. it’s weird how when u watch this video the second time around, the message hits different. in 2019, i was in my first year of uni and starting fresh after a lot of mental turmoil i faced in hs. and now it’s the end of 2021 and im the lowest mentally ive ever been. im not going to go into what im going through but for anyone who may be mentally low or struggling atm, please find the courage in yourself to seek help and talk to someone. i repressed a lot of my childhood trauma for 20 years!! and a lot of my family/friends know that im a very outspoken, open and self aware person when it comes to my emotions. however, just recently w the new lockdown and covid cases going on the rise, i didn’t realize how much i had neglected my mental health and well being until now. i know the Merrell twins probably won’t see this, but i want to thank Vanessa, Veronica, Paul, and Wendy for speaking up about such a crucial topic that gets shed under the rug and is incredibly stigmatized. ill be honest and say that i resonate a lot w Vanessa. I have been in toxic relationships/friendships that have caused me to lose my self esteem and hate myself to the point where I couldn’t even look at the mirror without wanting to cry or not knowing who I was anymore. i have severe anxiety and depression now but I am seeking professional help and therapy and i know that the only step to healing is being kind to myself, allowing myself to be human and learn from my mistakes. nobody is perfect but i think our intention says even greater things about ourselves than our actions (if that makes sense? ofc take this with nuance and a grain of salt). i hope whoever is rewatching this video or struggling rn is doing okay and takes it one day at a time. life is hard yall but it’s the little moments and the ppl around us that make life worth the while :) And ofc live for urself as well bc im sure ur amazing

I am depressed I talk to my sister and my best friend about it but that’s it and it got worse this year I started hurting myself a lot but I am trying to do better and I talk to my sister about it and she helped and then I watched this and it helped too. So thank you for doing that it helped

They have taught me a lot and this live stream just made me think about life. When I got broken up with I watched the Merrell Twins and they helped me through a lot. Thank you for taking about Mental health! Wish I would have watched your stream before Monday, I missed your live stream yesterday. I was on my way home from Georgia just past Macon, mind you I live in Michigan-Ohio border near Toledo, Ohio which is a 12-14 hour drive from my house. On Monday I was at my breaking point and tried to end it. Never thought about it before, but I couldn’t go through with it. Ended up calling a friend from college who talked me into not doing anything stupid and call my parents. Ended up staying at hotel Monday night and was on the road for 14 hours Tuesday before making it home late Tuesday night.
