The way it ended was so sad 😢 I have a lot of respect for him and the way he's been so open and honest about his problems with alcohol. The saddest thing is that he fell for a lie that others had seen through, and strayed from a loving relationship and family. As he says, a lot of people have been hurt by this; but the pain started years ago. 😢 Sadly, he ended up realizing he was in a very toxic and dysfunctional relationship far too late, and he paid for his choice in a huge way! I'm so very glad he looks so good again! He was looking pretty tough for a number of years, but getting away from AH has freed him up to be happy and healthy again! And I swear, he really aged with her, but whatever he's been doing this past year, it looks great on him!! He looks 10 yrs younger!! Vanessa is going to have a big role in this next movie about Modigliani and i am sure that is a way to get her back. The wedding of Vanessa and Samuel Benchetrit it's not a wedding of love and passion and they almost left each other several times but Johnny have to make big effort if he wants her to come back ! I don't see what other woman could suit him ? And as he seems to want to settle in France it will be more simply then 15 years ago. And given his age and what he's been through, he'll probably calm down now. This actually reminds me a lot of my ex-boyfriend. He came from a horrible abusive childhood and his mother had a lot of control over him and still does at the age of 61. I feel like he and I were soul mates and we had a wonderful love affair that lasted over a year but, his trauma bonding with his estranged wife ruined our relationship. She was very abusive but, it reminded him of HIS mother. This reminds me of the hold that Amber Heard has over Johnny Depp. It is all very tragic and sad.

This also is indicative of how childhood trauma can effect you for your entire life. Why was it so important for JD to have his Mother’s acceptance, after she was SO abusive to he and his siblings, both mentally and physically ? His Sister’s testimony at the defamation trial was heartbreaking. It’s not surprising that the Mother tried to come between he and Vanessa (arguably, VP was the best thing to ever happen to JD). Johnny even said that he woke up, not long after marrying Heard, to the realization that he had married his Mother (ie: a sociopathic abuser). Really Sad - and knowing how fiercely private JD is, I’m sure Heard is enjoying every second of him having to discuss his life in Court. I hope he wins his case, and can spend some quiet time with his kids and recharging.

May be is a time for him to think to give and share with others. To help people around. That's what I did when I broked up. I spend time with the really poor, collecting food for them and going to find the most humble. I became poor my self, but my life found more sens, was richer and I found happiness in simple things, and even in loneliness. He lives in a world of images, pride and appearence. Over protected, he probably must grow as a man, as a human being. We come to this world to learn how to love. Real love is inconditional. I admire missionaries, explorers, politiciens, people that dedicate their lives to others. We are never alone any how if we have faith and there is people all over the planet. Love is not obsession, not possesion. We have to learn to let people free, specially those we love the most. Their lives belong to them. I believe in mutual help and sharing. When we search plaisure and satisfaction we find suffering. If we are detached and loving no more suffering, we accept what commes around. May be there is some truth in what AH told him, he has to grow and face situations, but possibly he doesn't has the tools to do it. It depends on his intentions, his will. He has to clean up thoughts and words, it all has much power. We are creators of our reality.

I believe what kept them together so long was that she let Johnny be Johnny! She had her own career her own interests and a life outside of her relationship. It healthy to have interests independent of your partner. It makes you appreciate each other that much more and you get to really be friends! That is honesty the glue that keeps the love there! Sexual attraction is powerful and people build a relationship on that without ever knowing who their partner truly is! It’s unhealthy to only want to do the same things together and have no friends or interests, passions, dreams other than your partner. In this case I think Vanessa didn’t try and keep tabs on Johnny all the time and instead of worrying about what he was doing or where he was who he was talking to, she had her own life! The truth is, Vanessa put her life on hold to enable Depp to keep his career going. She said in one interview that they had problems right from the start. It's clear from this article that Depp was abusing substances. I think he used the situation with his mother as an excuse for not going out to France to be with Vanessa. It's actually Vanessa who left Depp, taking the 2 children with her. She said she didn't want to discuss what happened so I'm pretty sure he was being violent and abusive. She left him because he was targeting his next victim, Amber. I don't know how some people have got it all upside down, but Depp is the perpetrator. He's manipulated people into seeing things from his deluded perspective. He's a narcissist who always had to have the younger, more beautiful woman. Vanessa was okay up until she wanted to luck start her career. I imagine he went into a rage more than once which is why age decided to leave him and return to France. She got married and is very happy, her career is flying. She was invisible whilst she was entrapped with Depp. I think she has a lovely, emotion filled voice, and that special French, rasping quality. She's lovely and deserves some real happiness now.
