Why would I use a special track for a metronome if I could release it directly through the sub exit?

That’s a great question! I assign my memory banks with specifics songs. Each song is a different BPM and I will save specific songs and BPMs to different memories. Kinda like having backing tracks for a band. This way everything is saved and I just switch to the song I want to play at the time and the BPM is ready to go. There are certain songs I do on the fly and I usually just tap tempo and go, but for songs I do on a regular basis I will commit to a memory bank. Hope this helps!

On the Boss RC-600? Unfortunately, there is not.
