Run Ads to Promote Your Facebook Group in Ads Manager

Are you able to run ads to promote your Facebook group in Ads Manager?
A few weeks ago, we started hearing rumors of people being able to promote their Facebook groups with ads. But in that case, that option was found inside of the group. It was a Boost button of sorts.
Now I’ve seen examples of this IN ADS MANAGER, which is a big development. I don’t have it, but someone in my Power Hitters Club community shared screenshots.
Here’s what to look for...
Create a campaign with the Engagement objective and select the “On Your Ad” conversion location. If you have this, you will see “Group Joins” within the Engagement Type dropdown menu.
Interestingly, Link Clicks is the only performance goal option. That might be better than a 'Group Joins' performance goal at least since that may lead to serial group joiners. When that happens, expect crazy spam.
Not all groups are eligible. I assume the group needs to be connected to a page you control, but beyond that, I’m not sure if there are any other requirements.

Came here looking for info. I have it, but only 1 of my groups is qualified to run group joins to. And no, the page is not 'linked' to the group, so no idea how they picked that group. Maybe minimum number of members? it had about..500? at the time, now running ads to join the group, getting $0.10 usd group join requests. I wanted to use it for a different project to generate an audience of 'people interested in x', to work with later, but at loss how to get the new group to qualify.
