Just the kind of video I was looking for. I got the TRex 3 last week and was wondering whether I should have gone for the gw ultra for almost double the price. But the Trex3 has not disappointed so far. Charged 6 days ago and still 48% battery left. Your videos were really helpful in finalizing this watch

It is difficult Nd that is for sure. My budget is around $$$ per month. The KZbin ad revenue helps greatly once per month. Oh wait, there is also the fabulous media samples from Coros, Ultrahuman, Amazfit, KingWrite, Circul Rings, and few others… You need to understand that it requires $1,000.00 to create, edit, and maintain just a 5 to 10 minute video. Even if the watch were valued at $800, yes, I would have lost $200 before the ten-minute video was even published. My lava T-Rex3 arrived and I’ve spent 2 hours just looking at all the watch faces. Now on to the settings. btw great trail there.

Great news. I wanted that lava strap very, very much. I order the black version and then paid for an extra strap. Yes, and the watch faces are very fun to browse and apply. I like how many free watch faces Amazfit shares with the Users.

These watches will not make anyone sell their Garmin. But are considerably better then the Trex2 and Samsung Watch which they replace.

Yes and now... Samsung has made vast improvements with their sleep, workouts, heart rate, readiness, and other health metrics. I feel the GPS accuracy for the Galaxy Ultra also augmented. Alas, the battery life is at best three or four days if you don't use it fully. Would I trade a Garmin Enduro 3 for a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, nope!

Maybe, but when comes time to renew, a lot of people will consider switching. The t-Rex 3 is too good of a value compared to the fenix 8

You can upgrade every two years from one T-Rex to another and get a new watch for every two years for six straight years and still save money ;) I could easily sell my T-Rex 2.0 model for $99, and then the T-Rex 3 upgrade price reduces to just $180 ~ wahoo for affordable wearables from Amazfit!

@@PeterHerget it’s pretty damn mind boggling. Garmin gonna either have to rethink their printing or really increase their value offering. They can’t just live of their die hard fans, they don’t have enough of a cult following like Apple to justify ridiculous pricing forever

I just did mate.. I just sell my Ancient Fenix 6 for Galaxy Watch Ultra. Galaxy Watch is a whole different level because it's LTE, It's basically a phone on your wrist. I can leave my phone while going on the trails still answering calls, FB Messengers, Viber/WhatsApp even watching KZbin after exercise.

My wrist is 17-18 sm (7 inches) large and I am wondering if the T-Rex 3 is too bulky for me. What is your opinion on that?

My wrist size is just under 7 inches and the T-Rex 3 fits on mine just fine... I feel my video content shows the comfortable fit ;)

Glad you agree. Going on Day Six wearing the Enduro 3.0 out of the box and... 31% and 10 days to go After a weekend of testing the solar charging capabilities, yes, the Enduro 3 charges at about 2 to 3% per hour when under direct sunlight and kept at a temperature of 60F to 100F

1. you cannot change the status of your phone from your watch and vice versa, DND, sleep mode, workmode, mute, etc. 2. unsure about the phone number communication if the Galaxy Ultra SIM is activated 3. everything else appears just fine...

Bummer news :( Well, good thing I have both a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and the OnePlus 12. I have the Galaxy Watch Ultra paired to my OnePlus 12 and the Galaxy Ring paired to the Samsung ZFlip 5. I wanted see how close the recovery times, sleeping tracking, and readiness scores are when Samsung is compared to Samsung. And that video is coming out later in October when I reach one month of detailed research data...

I just happen to be going on Year Five of wearing at least two watches, and 3.5 years of wearing two watches and two smart rings. Last night was a tough night with three smart watches, seven smart rings, and two Glucose monitors. The things I do for science, right?

I saw people write in the comments that T-Rex 3 shows about 50% difference from Garmin pace in walking mode, pace in running mode looks ok. Can you confirm this? I am interested in T-Rex but I would mainly like to use it in walking mode
