I’m loving it man, you deserve more views for this. I’m also currently workin on my exoskeleton, mainly focusing on a powered lower body frame. Your work is an inspiration!
Could you give me that link to your blog that you upload videos to.

How about servo drives / hydraulics / pneumatics ? ( I recommend hydraulics. ) ( I'm planning to build a similar robotic suit.)

What about electronics and power source ? ( I'm planning to build a similar robotic suit.)

There is one suit under construction using similar systems for a full joint alignment. My suit. But there is indeed nothing on the market and your suit is far less cobbled together than mine.

Well suits I have a solid mental image of ;)

@@DylanEdmiston an image of the fully jointed cardboard mockup would nuke my potential patent plans. a suit design that can be easily ported for combative military use should not be open source before it is spread in sector actualy benefiting mankind.

The things not worthy of patenting, like the knee, elbow and such are obviously obvious in their functio. I can show an image of the bungee cord pasdive assistance system, as it too is not patent worthy.

here is an imiage of plastic rods in a boot, hold upright by bungee cords where the ankle and knee would be. a.uguu.se/zlyasi.png

Inner knee joints will collide i see what do you think?
@travissmith59944 жыл бұрын
There's a part of the knee that locks rotation when the leg is fully extended. That might have been what you saw colliding.

So having watched a few of your videos, I can honestly say that this is one the most well thought out power armour designs I have ever seen, the mechanical function seems impeccable. I do have some questions regarding your power armour "skin" video however. Wouldn't it be better to have projections on the frame that allow you to bolt on armour plates? That way they would be modular, and could be made of different materials (such as ceramic to stop high energy rounds). If flexibility is a concern, I would take a look at traditional plate armours (like this beautiful piece facebook.com/Livrustkammaren/videos/267304131348711 ) It seems to me there are some gaps in the armour, with exposed muscles that could be severed, or leaving the pilot vulnerable. Of course, if those gaps are there by design, that would be different, no armour is invincible.

Thanks I agree humbly haha. Yes the gaps are for movement mostly. There will be some modularity but this one is quick and dirty. There will be more modularity on mark ii and mark iii
