What are your goals as an artist (if you are one)? Hobbyist, professional, something in between? Comment below, I'm super curious.💕 Also all the stuff shown in this video are still available on my shop (though the stickers are almost sold out!): www.zaccura.com/shop

I'm an artist who just opened up their shop (digital artist). I actually appreciate you showing your workflow... I love how you show you don't have to spend too much and also that you are mindful about waste. that's one thing I worry about with doing physical products.

I just found your channel and I'm also an artist just starting a Etsy shop. I'm very intrigued by your reusable paint palette...
@Zaccura Жыл бұрын
It's a Sta-Wet palette! Very very useful for acrylic-based paints (or any paint you don't want to have drying out on your palette during painting). It's basically a box with a wet sponge, and parchment-like paper that allows the water from the sponge to pass through to the paints, keeping them wet for much longer. :)

OMG Im super late to watch this video! Loved it! It was nice to see the day to day behind the scenes work you do. Im currently getting ready to head back to Wisconsin. I've been in Florida and had a chance to get some great pics to turn into paints at some time in the future, but with April around the corner, I must focus on getting my herbs flowers and veggies started so they can be planted in May. My hope is one of these times I will submit a piece to your monthly newsletter. When I saw your tomato seed packet painting, it reminded me of my work in the garden Ill be needing to do. Lol Stay awesome Zaccura!

Aah I appreciate artists with small businesses, so much work and thought put into their work and products. Makes me want to buy something from every artist I admire, unfortunately my budget doesn't agree with me 😅😅 my goal currently is just to enjoy what I create 🌺🌺 I just transferred a sketch into watercolor paper, hoping to paint some dark moody guy with background filled with iridescent background 💪🏼

Haha I feel you, I follow a ton of small biz artists too, and if I could, I'd deck out my entire studio with their handmade goods. Hopefully one day! But I appreciate you watching, that's already a big support!💕🙏 And that sounds like a great goal. Hey Zaccura, youtube just suggested your vids to me as I am needing some background noises while painting my two cats in acrylic. Great cozy vibe you got in your videos! I have no interest on stickers making but your voice is so soothing and calm, making me rooting for you! Your arts also lovely, I am surprised that there is a traditional artist that only work with tiny stuffs! I often have difficulty on precise coloring my art with brush, can't imagine doing it on very small things! Also, did you paint and holding your phone to record video at the same time all the way? I can't imagine how uncomfortable that is. I want to try to record my paintings but I need both of my hands to draw!
@Zaccura Жыл бұрын
Haha painting tiny is a habit I unintentionally picked up, but it definitely trains precision😆 I don't hold my phone the entire time! I have two cameras that I set up on tri pods (sometimes I just use one camera and move it around every once in a while) which do the bulk of the filming, especially for long horizontal videos like this. I use my phone handheld to record short up-close segments, and vertical clips for Shorts/Reels - which are usually only a few seconds at a time. ;) I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for rooting for me hehe, your support means a lot!💕😊

Hi Zaccura, I just stumbled across your channel and I love it! So calm and cozy and inspiring. What brush are you using when you are painting those daffodils? The blue one? :D

What computer are you using for editing your artwork? I’m planing on getting a new one this year and are very indecisive on what to get because I also feel like I need to get some sort of drawing tablet. Worked on a little easter chicken while watching. LOVE the daffodil btw😊
@Zaccura Жыл бұрын
It's a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 14. It's a 2-in-1 laptop so I can have my drawing tablet and computer all in one. Unfortunately they don't make my exact modal anymore (mine is over 5 years old now, and kinda falling apart haha). But I do think they make a new version that's supposed to be the same just with newer tech on the inside. :) And thank you!! 💕

I loved seeing your process in this. Is your printer made for stickers or is it a normal printer? I understand your hand pain from cutting, one time I cut out a *lot* of fabric at once, my hand and wrist was ruined for a while. So I’m more careful with using scissors, gripping my pens and even holding my phone now.
@Zaccura Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It's just a normal inkjet printer for photographs. Any printer can make stickers! It's all about the paper. :D And oof, glad to hear your hand and wrist are ok now. I had a similar experience with working too long with a computer mouse in an awkward position. It was definitely a wake up call to be more careful!💕
