I am amazed at the architectural wonders you show on your travels. I am also curious as to why there are so few people out and about kinda nice but also worrisome for mom and pop shops. As always Thanks and Stay Safe.

Parts of inland Spain are really quiet Max, especially out of season ( which I enjoy ) but as you rightly say, not good for local small businesses. The cities like Seville were rammed but sadly multinational chains seem to have swallowed up all the prime locations so not good for the locals there either.

So, they bashed the bishop? And quite rightly... Never ceases to amaze me how wonderful buildings were before architects invented themselves... Graham Robb might be the author you're looking for. And don't get me started about the Romans. Vile people... Ho hum, said Pooh...👍
