How could anyone give Lucy a "dislike?" She is, without a doubt the most talented and beautiful singer I have ever heard and I'm 70 years old so I've heard A LOT of singers. I've yet to hear Lucy sing any song that she doesn't sound better than the original artist who sung it. Her voice is strong, crystal clear and smooth. U also love the little smile she gives when she ends a song, I always wait for that.

I’m 65 years old now in the year 2023 and I’m just coming across this on KZbin of course I’m on KZbin all the time for hours every evening. In my younger years I was a musician and singer pop bands club so it’s with a little bit of light road work voice I studied music as far as playing instruments only if I had an incredible horse lol I never took any vocalsLessons just naturally sank and I was just OK I guess go to the club second but hearing her voice it is just totally amazing. Nine months ago, I heard this recording by young Lucy Thomas, and was very impressed by her handling it. And I so reflected it in my brief comments that time. Now, having listened to it, and carefully visually observed this video, many, many times again, I have improved my appreciation of what she so carefully and delicately does with her incredible voice, and physical body language, and I now think that what she has done with this song and its requirements, is unique and so more near the desired perfection, that she should not be compared with anybody singing it, least of all Whitney Houston's classic version.
