I’m 66 years old and I remember hearing this music when I was younger but I was more into rock ‘n’ roll so how could this be my favorite band now this guy‘s voice is amazing and everybody in his band can play their ass off I think that’s one thing that gets overlooked the guitar player the horns the bass player everybody the drummer is fast as fuck I love it hope these guys go somewhere they deserve it with all the shit music today these bands suck this over produced bullshit music. And then you get these guys who are not even from America kicking ass I wish there was someway to bring them to the US and get them they’re just do

I used to sing this one when I was in a very busy covers band in the 80's and 90's. We played mostly social clubs, and though we generally went down really well (and got lots of rebookings) we'd occasionally encounter a tough crowd. We were playing to just such a crowd one night and we started this, and as I was singing the 'woah woah' bits I suddenly became aware the rhythm guitarist and keyboard player were doing the backing vocals as 'hep, hep, whadda lodda wallies, hep hep, wadda lodda wallies'! The crowd didn't seem to notice their sly substitution, but it made me laugh. 😄
