I personally don't like this song, nor do I like performing it. I'm definitely in the minority though. Of course, it depends on the skill level of the band, but I could think of a bunch of different standards and fusion pieces a jazz band could play instead.

I am adding in a lot of drum fills and it sounds so good. The percussionist at Harrow Young Musicians always improvises and I like it better. However Paul Murtha is an awesome arranger and I think that the percussionists should just play there part for once.

+Alpha Lord , If you mean alternate fingers for high G, you can use open valves, 1 & 3, 1 & 2, and 3. Lot's of alternate fingers for it. This song is a really great arrangement btw.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but it just doesn't sound good when instruments imitate this kind of rap/singing, where just one note is played. But aside from that, great Arr!
