Every song you post is a gift. How the hell you transcribe them, learn them and then film a lesson for posting at a pace of almost one a day is beyond comprehension! I’m keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that you might soon post a lesson on how to play I CAN’T STOP LOVIN’ YOU by Van Halen. Thanks again Carl for all you do.

Very true
@shawnthornton_4 жыл бұрын
Correct. Richie did not play on this. Non of the rest of the classic era line up were part of this song... ironically, the bass player on this is Hugh McDonald who would later be their unofficial Bass player starting in 94
@PalomaGRT4 жыл бұрын
Wade 6242 really? I thought richie recorded it
@shawnthornton_4 жыл бұрын
@@PalomaGRT I think a lot of people thought the same thing for a while.. but the guitarist was a studio guy named Tim Pierce.. After that, for the live band, it was Jon's childhood friend, Dave "The Snake" Sabo on guitar (who would later start Skid Row).. Then Richie Sambora..
@peakAV3 жыл бұрын
cited from Wikipedia, "The track was recorded in 1982 at the Power Station recording studio, and released to radio in 1983.[4] Jon Bon Jovi chose studio musicians who were recording with other artists using the studio at the time-these musicians became known as "The All Star Revue", which included: bassist Hugh McDonald (who would join Bon Jovi in 1994 as an unofficial member); guitarist Tim Pierce (who was working on a John Waite record with producer Neil Giraldo); drummer Frankie LaRocka; and keyboardist Roy Bittan. The keyboard intro was written by Mick Seeley-then of John Bongiovi and the Wild Ones and later with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes-who also performed backing vocals on the track with David Grahmme."

Hey Carl. Awesome stuff as always. I'm going to make a suggestion that might give you something a bit different to work with. You have a few lessons on Fleetwood Mac stuff that were really good. Maybe consider doing a lesson on a song like Oh Well, or Isn't It Midnight (the solo at the end is majestic), or Tango In The Night (great soloing at the end there too). Except for Oh Well, there are basically no tutorials on either of those. If you're feeling like it. Keep it up, man. Best song lessons on KZbin
