Sorry but in my opinion Kenma acted absolutely terrible and everything he did was wrong. He shouldn't be told that what he did was right. He was indeed a terrible mother and spouse. If he would have had anyone besides himself on his mind he would have taken 5 minutes to talk to literally anyone about the situation and not just up and leave. He was absolutely selfish and immature.

In this AU tho he is an omega. And omegas in this AU have intense maternal instincts that when he put together that Kuroo not wanting children = Kuroo wanting to get his pups aborted = His children getting killed And his maternal instincts just filled his head with "alpha doesn't want you, you're a bad omega for disappointing alpha, you need to protect your pups, alpha will leave you either way so you should just leave first" Kuroo also realized this since he's known Kenma since forever and his little bestfriend has always been true to his instincts. Thus him apologizing for not thinking through why Kenma would ask if he wanted pups (Because Kenma would never want kids, we all know how he dips when it's tiring things, plus they were 19/20) Hope that clears things up ^^
