I actually didn't know who to go for when I first played this game. So I just talked to and gave everyone gifts. Dylas was definitely not on top of my list. Didnt like his design very much at first, not to mention he was the only boss that actually managed to beat the crap out of me. But after countless dialogues from him, he grew on me. A lot. Im the same! I was completely caught off gaurd when I finally saw his in game sprite, I feel as if the artist was different from the other sprites. No other character has that much disparity between their sprite and cutscene art. He's almost got an entirely different feel.

But I would think it's worth it. Just to see what you get from it for RF 5 at least. Plus people are saying there's 20 save files. That's cool. Vishnal is definitely Michael Sinterniklaas. However, I would not want to immediately assume for the worst. Vic Mignona has mentioned he contacted by a couple of studios to continue his work, but he declined it due to how much the stress it had been causing him. He is not convicted. He is making an appeal process atm. He isn't asking for his jobs back, he wants his name to be cleared. We shouldn't assume XSeed didn't want him back. He could simply not want to do voice acting for the moment.

All characters appear to have received new voice actors. Unless you mean the cutscenes it showed. Those exist at certain points in the game like when talking to a character to the first time.

I can't shake the feeling that there could be some new voice lines for some events though. I've played this game ca. 3 times (Frey, Lest and new game+) and I am sure I haven't heard some of the lines in 3ds version (and no, I don't mean those in newlyweds mode, I know they are new).

It looks like only 2 voice actors have changed (Vishanl and Dylas?) The rest are the same as the original english release on the 3ds.
