Technical question here: how can he just do lip tricks / slides and airs in an oververt section?! And in this line up?! Is there any other vert skater doing these kind of tricks? (ok Bob can do it) I mean - theoretically - I would be able to try one of these tricks: - I guess I would just get stomped into flatground - or overshot - and land in flat... ?! I seriously can not wrap my head around, how it is done. But I for sure know, it is gnarly as hell! The Switch flip on vert is bonkers by the way! hitting the coping with the back wheels...

Honestly, man, I think it's just board control. I always wonder how the board never leaves pro skaters feat, so I think it's just a combination of that and bending your knees to absorb the transition... Just my logic anyway haha

Wouldn't matter if the newest kid pulled a 1420, what it would lack is style. All the new gen skaters just skate like robots & the tricks are just automatic. Rune's skating has style - along with difficulty. Something gradually being lost in skating & it honestly makes it boring to watch. Not many these days with style.
