As a fan of the franchise for the majority of my life, I greatly appreciate them trying to be innovative. Games can’t stay the same for decades and still be good. Even if it’s not the best it could’ve been or even bad in some ways, I GREAAAATLY appreciate the team trying to be new and innovative.

LT for block has always been the way all NG games have been on xbox. It was changed on the ps3 cause the controller is different and it worked better on L1

I enjoyed your play through the NG series on twitch. As a Ninja Gaiden fan you had the same reaction/experience I had playing this series. Ninja Gaiden = Happy | Ninja Gaiden 2 = Even Happier | Ninja Gaiden 3 = Disappointment/Frustration/Facepalm. My biggest problem with NG3 was that they had the perfect blueprint from the 2nd game and didn't use it. Thank God for Metal Gear Rising which came out a year later. If you love Metal Gear, Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta and even bits of RE4 then Metal Gear Rising Revengenace is an awesome game to play.

Ya know, while I can't personally say I like it more than the others, the combat is head and shoulders above them. It's like poetry in motion, especially in Ninja Trials where it's really able to shine.

3 games in and she hasnt even learned basic mechanics like on landing attacks and on land UT/ETs, wind pathing, guillotinethrow, guard break to reverse wind, reverse wind to jump also known as roll jump. These are just basics of the combat

360 Scythe, and Cicada Surge are both as OP as Ryu’s bulging arms, and the crystal skull challenges give you a TON of XP if you do them. Just a tip if you ever go back to play again 😉. Best combat loop in the 3D trilogy, imo.

I just played the whole Master Collection I like all three but RE just wins by a fingertip and thats that you can turn yourself into a freaking Dragon and you can teleport like in 2 but a little bit better

Normal the middle difficulty even though after hard you have master ninja and after that you have ultimate ninja.

I like how some levels in NG2 felt like DOA stages but these new ones just feel like generic location #1, #2 and #3. I always heard about how awful three is but didn't know it was this bad. A sign of just how bad the early 2010s were. Especially with Troy Baker being the voice of Ryu. At least Ryu doesn't talk too much.

Should of chose wind path first its one of ryu's most powerful tools to control the field unless you wanna abuse 360 rotate on the scythe and just cheese everything

Nah it's good, especially if you play chapter challenge cause it skips all the lame story sequences and final boss, it also lets you play the entire game as other chars. That said it's still worse than 2 for sure. At least it's not NG3, Razor's Edge improved so much over it though still has flaws like the worst enemies in the series and the annoying heartbeat
