If you're low on $$, the lvl 93 spot in Kharid Et is great as opposed to the lvl 94 and 95 spots, as the mats required are cheaper, the deposit materials cart is close, and you also get pylon batteries which give decent xp if saved and used in bulk.

Also at level 81 you want to go to Infernal Source to the Animal Trophies pile to finish the Zamorakian ll collection log. It gives a Tetra compass peice which is pretty important!

If you don't have infinite money, just repeat the highest available completed collection for enough chronotes to pay for the materials. You can also do the highest available tetracompass piece collection and repeat them in sets of four to get a tetracompass that will make you a whole lot of money, that you then can spend on dragon mattocks, higher excavations and chronotes you need for research team.

I think you should have mentioned tools - Mattocks. Explain the differences and which you should upgrade to and at which level. Also, it would be good if you could talk about the soil storage box and the sorters that you can purchase.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Doing pretty much everything that I'm supposed to, and yet at level 62 I'm not even getting 25k xp per hour. Sure, the xp will increase at higher levels, but is it really possible to get to 99 without several hundred hours at least spent grinding this skill? Skill feels a few times slower than any other skill in the game.

My god, archaelogy just doesn't click with me... Any other skill feels okay to level, but this for some reason just feels like torture, and im only at 55 Archaelogy level. It's either extremely costy to level, or very chance based on getting right materials and enough of them just to get little bit of exp... Trying to get to 86 for one necromancer skill since the damn skill needs archaelogy to unlock... This is gonna be bane of my existence. Was enjoying necromancy leveling, until this point... I recall quitting long ago because of this. Am unable to fathom whoever gets this skill to 200m exp. Jaw dropping...

Great vid man. I'll try to apply it when I can. But quick question, at 0:45 on the top left for your equipment it shows your character model.. Is there a setting or something I can toggle to show that? I've never seen it before :l Edit: and how do you have all your menus so clean and tight? I do have the slim border thing active but nothing looks that clean together Edit 2: Found out I had my screen zoom on my computer to 125% and not 100%. That's fixed. I kept most of mine, just to sell it. I also threw a lot of them away. However, at level 70 you get the auto screener. Which is a god send. Get it. You won’t regret it. It’s from the associate qualification rewards.

DemPlantz preference really. I would math out how many I needed for the next spot. Say I’m 100k away from unlocking new area. And the artifacts gave me 10k. I would excavate 7 (40% of overall xp is excavating believe it or not) and then repair and go to new spot.

Did you buy materials along the way? I am level 74 and just counted I have over 100 damaged artifacts in the bank because I dont have enough materials. I dont plan on buying any, but imagine it would make the journey much faster!

It really does, past 99 you collect so many materials while excavating so, the amount needed kinda goes down.

Biohazard go to the archaeology guild. Go inside the building, there’s a map on a table. Click the table and teleport to ever light. 👍

Is it better to do Green Gobbo I and other tetra logs? It's ~50k xp per ancient casket, it works out more xp per artefact uncovered, than just camping the highest spot you can

A guide that focused more on what collection logs you should farm when would be more useful then just assuming the highest lvl plot is auto the best pace to always be doing.

Oof Squad try it and let me know what you find out. Imo you can do that, and you might pull ahead of someone doing the best available spot for a short period of time, but you’ll fall behind when having to backtrack for other logs to get your outfit / elite outfit. Your choice tbh.

@@DexxonGaming Ty for the reply, it isn't falling behind making 2x other logs as well, as all methods need to do this for Guildmaster. You get more than enough chronotes as well as tetra pieces. (Anyway chronotes are buyable so not sure how that's falling behind). There are tetra logs at level 83, 94, 97, 100, 110, 116, and 119. All of which, taking into account the added tetra xp, are better xp per artefact and per hour than all the other logs.

You need to find an Ikovian Gerege by excavating around the portal when you first teleport there. Once you find one. Repair it. Put it in your tool belt. Enter portal. Profit. 👍

dotnove A okay, so use your archaeology journal to teleport back to guild. Walk inside the building, click on the table next to the guild master. There you can teleport to any dig site you have the level for. Stormguard being one of them. 🙂 let me know if you have any other trouble.

The pendant is at the level 47 spot just inside the prison door you opened in Kharid Et.

Did you have to buy a lot of additional materials or spend ages at caches? I just hit level 90 and I'm finding it really slow and quite expensive, not sure how anyone hits 120 without throwing billions at it.

If you have to cash it may be best to buy them

Either buy them, or camp certain research logs, like the saradominist 1 or 2, or most camp the green gobbo goodies or the red rum relics logs for tetra + chronotes.

At that level I recommend grinding Sara 2 as it gives tet compass as well. This will give you mats to work with in the future, or sell them so buy the missing chronotes so you can progress faster
