Welcome to Xtreme Chest Locked, the series where we take on Runescape's hardest challenges whilst being limited to only chests.
This means EVERY aspect of the game, we can not train agility without using chests, obtain items without using chests, or use shops as they are not chest related.
This episode we try to unlock barrows and complete some 6 brother runs.

Just to infodump for a moment, the Macahuitl(Pronounced roughly as Mah-Kwa'-hui-tl) was a weapon actually used by Mesoamericans, particularly the Aztecs, what makes them a GENUINELY terrifying weapon was their use of Obsidian, aka Volcanic Glass, now why is this? It's because on the first it you properly bludgeon someone, on the second his, you are hitting them with, I kid you not, razor sharp obsidian spikes, sometimes they will shatter in a way, that the point's width would be measured in ATOMS. Obsidian can shatter and become extremely sharp extremely easily, they are like glass cuts on steroids. On another interesting note, using modern technology we have been able to make knife blades out of obsidian with an edge thickness of just 14 atoms wide, which is just pure insanity.

After the comment on last video, you send me on a wild goose chase to find the healing values of all the food in the Perilous moons. The beta worlds helped out massively, I figured it out, fixed the wiki and it will be added to runelite. Thanks for pointing out it was wrong!

@@Tellacon Mostly just the edge cases where the formula breaks. The very first level you can catch and cook, cooked bream it heals 1 more than it should. The healing goes off of boosted stats when eaten, so someone with 99 cooking and at least 70 hunter could bring a chef's delight (m) to boost to 106 cooking and heal 35 instead of 33. Other than that, the cooked bream doesn't seem worth it unless you have really low hunter compared to fishing. Or if you just like the AFK aspect of it ofc. :P

Friendly reminder that if you are going after singular moon boss drops it is way way way more time efficient to just kill the target boss and loot chest. Sure you get less loot rolls but since you are chasing 1/56 drop cutting 2 boss fights speeds up farming time massively.

Hey, have you considered the Stealing Valuables thieving in Varlamore for prayer exp? There are chests to steal from in the houses and a chance they drop bone statues for blessed bone fragments which give a high amount of prayer exp!

The moons chests give tonnes of the bone/fragments too, I think running moons repeatedly may be the best prayer training method for this account

It's a little confusing if you didn't watch last episode, basically it just comes down to if I have a resource I can fish, if I don't (lobster pot/net) I can't, but Perilous Moons is a bit different Since episode 1 I've said I can use things in a raid/dungeon if it helps with a chest, an example is I can make xerics aids in CoX - with perilous moons, I can catch the fish because they're isolated to a dungeon with a chest it's as simple as that really! Outside of dungeons/raids, I can use fishing rod IF it has fishing bait, but I can't woodcut as there is no resource, so I have to wait until I plant a tree Apologies for the confusion!

Question, if your rules state that every chest must be accessible, and the RfD chest allows you to do more subquests to upgrade that chest, can you do the Morytania hard diary for the upgraded barrows chest?

Theoretically it is as it matches me using barronite shards to upgrade camdozaal, but I always just simply say 'it's not allowed' because its hard to explain piety is locked haha

I have one! And one degraded... I had an episode of 200 hours to get 65 firemaking, go check it out ;) But it'd also require going to grab full torags which is quite slow at 3 barrows runs an hour

Nope! But we can't remove it from the account as probita will always have it, so we can only pick up the crystal/grubby key drops, but we can't avoid a pet if that makes sense

The clips aren't really long enough to see it but I do recharge my prayer there, anything in the world that gives no experience is basically fair game

One of my core rules from episode 1 is simply 'any repeatable chest must be able to be opened' and the only way to get zombie pirate keys is to kill zombie pirates! I can however only kill npcs that drop chests or keys, such as if I got an abyssal demon slayer task from Krystillia, I could pick up larrans keys, but have to leave whips on the floor, it's how the rules have always been!
