Actually, male lions are just night shift so we didn't see thier contributions until recently. They patrol the area on guard duty and occasionally hunt sleeping creatures by themselves. they just don't hunt during day much because those manes are worse for stealth and heat, better for them to stay home unless the extra muscle is necessary. But hyenas would kill a lot more baby lions if not for the males, they take part in hunts during storms and at night, and if the pride is getting hungry they'll hunt by themself so they're not draining the group's kills.

So male lions are doing an Immortal Tatsu and being efficient house husbands. Cool to know
@Ryodraco10 ай бұрын
Yeah, the male lion's main job is to protect the pride, mainly from hyenas and other male lions, both of which not only kill cubs but steal kills from the female lions. They also assist the females in hunts, primarily of large and powerful prey where their extra strength is a boon to bring down things the females are fast enough to catch but struggle to actually kill.

Elysium doesn't have a god of it, but there are many gods that make realms upon her lairs. Most notable is Ishtar and her extravagant City of the Star. She holds a powerful rivalry with the Egyptian power Isis. In general, planes don't have powers (aka gods), but each plane is composed of layers which each has a number of deity realms. This is why Tiamat has her realm on Avernus while the broader layer is/was/will be ruled by Zariel. Guardinals have an important role in Elysium, mainly slapping the shit out of any invaders. The obvious ones are the demons and devils trying to tap the upper planes for some sort of advantage in the blood war. There are others, however. Who are you going to turn to if a warband of heroes from Ysgard decide to take a field trip to Elysium via Yggdrasil, or a group of Bacchus from Arborea disrupt the peace in the City of the Star? And always remember, just because the upper planes are referred to as "heavens" does not mean that they are completely free of threats.

@@elegantoddity8609 Many of the creatures of Mount Celestia are good, and are made to help those on their journey up the mountain. The danger comes from those journeying up the mountain, who may find it too difficult and escape to Elysium. The Archons of the Seven Heavens may come to Elysium to return their escaped petitioner to the plane of lawful good, and when that occurs it is the Guardinals that they confer with. Arcadia is much more dangerous. The plane has bent more and more lawful over time, to such an extent that one of the layers slipped into the plane of Mechanicus. A loose Aasimon or Archon from that plane poses a more significant threat, as it may try to execute anyone not obeying their strict and secretive law code.
