Very cool. I don't think any other creator has a guide like this nor is it as easy as you make it. Thank you.

Always like your explanations. Thank you. Having BGM should be good, especially for the transitions. Cheers!

Thank you for all of the great content! Can you give some recommendations for shoes for me? 70kg 2nd year runner shin splints problems long distance roads. Avg pace 5:30min/km easy runs. 40miles per week. For daily running. Currently using fly 5 and endorphin speed 3 and shins splits won't go away. Trying my best to manage the load without stopping completely.

I assume you watched this, right? kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZyanWWNrMebftk I suggest you shift towards "Balance" models. Sure, you will not get enought speed in them, but stability and cushioning shold really help you to heal.
@boryahL6 ай бұрын
@@RUNFAQ Yes I did watched it. Even for my speed days? Thank you!
@RUNFAQ6 ай бұрын
i think you should focus on recovery first. only after than think about more bouncy/springy feel during speed session. From my experience, Shin Splints is daaaamn long to cure.

Bondi X would've been my favorite shoe ever (perfect forefoot stiffness for hallux rigidus and optimal cushioning), were it not for the heel slippage and narrow toe box (short toes relative to my foot size means I need a very roomy toe box. What's a good alternative to address these shortcomings? Doesn't have to necessarily be in the Hoka range.

I got the Hoka Skyward X this week. So far it has a wider toe box, bouncier than Bondi 8. I still have my Bondi X because of the narrower toe box, I don't use it often.

@@melgigz178I tried the skyward x two days ago! Still too narrow for me. The Gaviota 5 worked tho

How about for beginner walker?
@RUNFAQ2 ай бұрын
this is to wide question. Usually, "beginner walker" is a baby 1 year old. Or do you refer to person, who is senior? or do you refer to overweight person, who was sitting/laying for some time.
@chimneycakefactory53752 ай бұрын
@@RUNFAQ hehe I like your answer. I meant overweight, flat foot, lift weights but planning to start 10k steps daily. Thanks

@RUNFAQ6 ай бұрын
Gaviota - True - H-frame. Arahi - J-Frame. Thanks for the correction. To be honest, I don't care much about the name of the technology, but rather what it provides.
